Review: Crowned Jewels Titanium Marylebone

Crowned Jewels Marylebone1 I’ve exclaimed my love for Crowned Jewels on multiple occasions, so I was ecstatic when I was offered the chance to review for them, I obviously gave an immediate and enthusiastic yes, which resulted in me receiving their Titanium Marylebone to test. I was offered my choice of colour and I decided to go for the blue, as this is a colour I need more of in my collection. If blue isn’t your thing, then there are five other dashing shades available from gold through to purple. I love that they offer these colours as most metal toys are only available in silver/grey tones.

It wasn’t long until my toy was ready and it was delivered within the week, discreetly as advertised. The Marylebone was sealed in the same way as the other two toys I have from them, with added tissue paper around the container that was sealed with a Crowned Jewels sticker. I knew what to expect packaging wise, but I was still happy to see the wax-sealed tube container under the tissue paper. It’s a lovely little touch and indicates the luxuriousness of the product inside. Inside this container, you find more tissue paper for added protection and wrapped inside this, is the Marylebone (within a branded storage pouch) and a small leaflet. This leaflet is just a showcase of their products, as all the care and use information is to be found over on their site.

Crowned Jewels Marylebone 2When I removed the Marylebone from the storage bag, I checked for any signs of imperfections and I’m pleased to say I didn’t find any. The toy is excellently made and finished to a very high standard. In terms of quality, there’s absolutely nothing I can fault Crowned Jewels on as this is where they excel. I was extremely pleased with how the colour turned out, I wasn’t sure if it would cheapen the look of the toy, but it doesn’t at all. I think it actually looks more luxurious than the silvery/grey shades that other metal toys offer up. It might just be because it’s different, but I was impressed and very pleased with my choice.

Crowned Jewels strive to make exciting, beautiful and luxurious adult toys that are crafted from completely body-safe and high-grade materials. They partake in regular quality testing to maintain the standard that they’re putting out there and also make sure they’re in compliance with all British and EU rules regarding safe metal toys. This particular toy is made from medical grade, pure titanium and does not include nickel, latex or phthalates. It has been safely anodised to produce the colour that is has. In regards to how the toy was made, the answer is by hand. Crowned Jewels metal toys are all hand-crafted and made to order, with each being thoughtfully designed and created.

As the Marylebone is made with metal, any type of lubricant can be used with it, be that water-based, silicone or hybrid. I generally prefer to use water-based lubricant in the bedroom to avoid any sheet-staining, but I will use a drop or two of silicone lube if I’m using this toy in the bath. I haven’t and probably won’t ever use this in the shower as I imagine dropping it on your foot would be more painful than stepping on a plug or banging your toe on the coffee table. I often find that I don’t need to use any additional lubricant with toys like this, as they tend to glide pretty easily with just natural lubrication. After use, I spritz the toy with cleaner and rinse thoroughly, although I can never remove all of those pesky fingerprints that this material picks up!

Crowned Jewels Marylebone 3The Marylebone is an extremely bumpy toy, but its measurements are completely manageable, which allows for comfortable penetration. If I follow the outside curve, there is nine inches of overall length, which means there’s a maximum of eight inches insertable, depending how much room you want left to hold on to. I typically use around five to seven inches, depending which end I’m using and what kind of mood I’m in.

It has a maximum girth of 3.75 inches which is around the widest point of bulb four (smack bang in the middle) and a minimum of 2.5 inches at the smaller, rounded end. The tapered end has a girth of 3.5 inches, but again this should be manageable for most. It weighs roughly 280g, which is a pretty desirable, decent weight for this material, but it’s still easy-going on the wrists which means I can use the toy for long periods of time comfortably.

Alongside the weight and firmness that make these toys so divine, they also offer up the chance to explore temperature play, which just so happens to be one of my favourite things to do in the bedroom. This material can be chilled or warmed up, although I haven’t explored warming very much as I prefer my dildos cold. I have used the bowl of cold water method I’ve described in other reviews, but I also managed to get the house to myself for long enough to place it in the fridge before use. When I removed the toy, I immediately noticed it felt more intense than chilled glass and it seemed to hold the temperature much better. I often find glass can warm up to body temperature before I’ve had time to climax, but titanium keeps its temperature beautifully.

Heading back upstairs, I’d already prepared for the evening with towels placed over my sheets and a bottle of my favourite lube on the side, so I was all ready to go. I applied a very small amount and slowly inserted the smaller end. As I worked the toy further inside me, I began to take notice of the bumpy texture and graduating beads that it’s made up of. It glided so easily, it was only a matter of seconds before I was approaching the largest of the eight bulbs. I decided to stop once I’d quickly conquered that and begin to start some sort of movement. I opted for twisting first, as I thought this would be a fantastic way to feel the raised texture and growing of the bulbs and it certainly was. My vaginal walls were being softly stimulated by this and the cold thrill it was giving off was just increasing my arousal further.

Crowned Jewels Marylebone 4I began to feel a familiar urge that basically means “just thrust” so that’s exactly what I did. The curve is perfectly angled so the dildo found my g-spot very quickly and fast movements in that general direction had me feeling the pressure beginning to build. I knew I’d need a little more width to be able to batter my g-spot with a little more aggression, so I flipped the toy around, swapping the small, rounded tip for the tapered tip of the other end. I gave my g-spot a satisfying beating for a few more moments until the pressure became too much and I couldn’t resist any longer.

I can’t seem to squirt without simultaneous clitoral stimulation, so I placed a full speed Doxy against my clitoris and continued with the thrusting force for a couple more minutes before collapsing into a shivering heap. The orgasm I had was extremely intense, but one I enjoyed a hell of a lot. There have been several repeat performances of this occasion, although it happens faster now I’ve got the hang of handling two weighty beasts at once.

Overall, I would not hesitate to recommend the Crowned Jewels Titanium Marylebone to those who enjoy bumpy texture and toys that have weight to them. If you’re unsure about the weight, then I’d suggest trying one of their aluminium toys instead as they are much lighter.

I received the Titanium Marylebone (£198) from Crowned Jewels in exchange for my review. Thank you! No affiliate links have been used within this post.
