Cush 02 by Tantus Inc;; Review

Okay, so when i first heard of the Cush O2 by Tantus Inc I have to admit, I was a bit skeptical of how “real” it could feel. You always hear claims to “real feel” in the adult toy industry and I just knew I’d have to try it, and see for myself. Click the links below to purchase, and I hope you enjoy my review <3

Specifics;

I was also pleasantly surprised by this toys length and width. I don’t exactly know why but I expected the toy to be lighter, and thinner then what I received but its actually a nice size for a dildo.  It measures in at 1.75 inches in diameter and 7 inches in length. I would consider it on the bigger end, especially since some fancier toys only have an insertable length of 5 inches. For those who love to push the limits it may not be your cup of tea, but for the average user, or a beginner looking to move up, it does the job.

The Cush O2 by Tantus Inc is made from 100% premium, DUAL DENSITY silicone. For those that are unfamiliar with dual density products, it simply means the product has a softer outer silicone, and a harder inner core silicone. As you may know silicone is one of the best materials to make adult toys from, and is 100% body safe, eco friendly, hypoallergenic, and can be boiled bleached or run in the dishwasher for cleaning. These toys will also last longer then most other toys (with proper care) because they are non-porous and don’t get broken down by bacteria. It is important to note that you DO NOT use silicone based lubricant with silicone toys. Silicone lubricant will break down the silicone in the toy which will destroy the toy. There are TONS of water based lubricants that are wonderful and will work with these toys.

I recommend Shibari Water Based Lubricant (click the link for my review) it runs for about 8.99 on amazon.

Features;

As for what the toy can “do”, it is waterproof, and works with a standard “O” ring harness. It does not have a pocket for a suction cup or vibrator but is designed to hit your G-spot so I don’t think anything is lost in not having those features.

You can see by the picture above the detail on the Cush O2 is similar to a circumsized penis with only a single ridge on the shaft. The picture to the left shows the flexibility of the toy, and I found that like most other silicone toys, I had no issue getting it to move around as I wanted it to. This is also important when being used with a harness, because it is flexible enough that rougher sex won’t hurt.

I couldn’t get a great picture to show how soft it was but I did find it felt like the real deal. I even let my husband hold it and he said it felt better to the touch then my other toys. I feel the softer silicone used on the head also helped with insertion, its a smoother, more natural feel then i’ve had with most other toys.

I can’t tell you for sure if I noticed the dual density silicone during use as much as i did just holding it or during insertion. I did however wish there was more texture on the shaft. I can appreciate the “real feel” and “real look” they were going for but its just a personal preference.

As far as colors go, it comes in the three pictured above. Again i wasn’t able to get the greatest picture to show the color (my camera is MIA currently so I worked with what my phone could produce) but mine is the “ice” pictured in the center.

Comparison

I also wanted to show you how the Cush O2 by Tantus Inc compares in size to another toy i received a few months back. (it has since been discontinued; The Goddess).

The Goddess is a quarter of an inch smaller in diameter at 1.5 inches, and 3 quarters of an inch shorter in length. (1.5 x 6.25″) As you can see even though it doesn’t sound like a lot, visibly you can tell how they differ. Also the Goddess is a firm silicone toy, so even though it is still very flexible, you can tell when your holding it how much harder it is.  Again I say this is a huge thing to consider when thinking about toys to use with a strap on, I feel the softer silicone outside just makes it a tad more comfortable, and safer and comfortable when using it with a partner.

Closing Thoughts;

All in all I feel this toy had some very strong points, and only failed in a few areas that are purely up to personal preference.

Pros : I do enjoy the dual density silicone (and silicone in general), and the flexibility of the toy. I find it is a lot easier to insert, and a lot more comfortable then some of the harder toys. I love the fact that it is so easy to clean, and does not run the risk of retaining bacteria. I also like that since it has a flared base, it can be used for anal play. Also the size was very nice, I felt that it was a happy medium between large and small dildos.

Cons : I wish this toy had more texture to the shaft. I personally am either need texture or vibration to get off so it took a little bit longer with this toy.
