Review: Lovehoney Satisfy Me G-Spot Silicone Dildo

I purchased this dildo after buying (and loving) its purple sibling, the Satisfy Me Curve. The Curve introduced me to squirting, so, keen to continue on the journey of exploration, I hoped I’d be able to achieve the same results through another, similar toy. I chose this one as it’s specifically designed to target the G-Spot, but wasn’t much different in length or girth. This is the slightly bigger of the two with a circumference of 5 inches.

IMG_0482It arrived packaged in classic, own branded packaging with a picture of the dildo on the front and key features on the side of the box. Upon opening the box, the Satisfy Me G-Spot was resting within some plastic casing and along with it, a small information leaflet. The leaflet just gives some ideas for use and cleaning directions. (Toy cleaner and water)

The first thing I noticed when the dildo was fresh out of the packaging was the smoothness of the silicone. It just so happens to be the first thing I noticed about the Curve too. It’s a silky silicone that has a little drag, not as much as this, but enough that it requires a slashing of water-based lube. The body of the toy is surprisingly flexible whilst the bulbous head remains firm enough that it can provide the pressure needed to awaken my G-spot. It is a very high quality product and I love that it’s not shaped like a penis! Don’t get me wrong, I love penis and penis shaped toys, (I’m a straight woman with needs after all), but it’s nice to have something different every once in a while. The only thing I’d change about the general appearance of the toy would be the colour. I’d prefer it in blue.

As the Curve was my first ever double ended dildo, I was still rather excited about owning my second (this one). I enjoy having the option for more versatile play, it keeps things interesting and exciting. Plus, if you’re blindfolded and have no idea what end your partner is going to use on you, it just adds to the build-up. Both sides offer completely different sensations, keeping me excited about this toy each time it’s brought out to play.

I decided to use the smaller end first to warm-up with, it looked as though it might be more comfortable as back when I ordered this, a five-inch girth (on a toy) scared me a little bit. It’s not a problem for me anymore, I can go straight in with the bulbous end, but it’s nice to use the smaller end every once in a while as it has some slight textured detailing, that provides extra stimulation. As you can see by the pictures, the toy has a ridge down each side that are almost like internal masseuses. I can’t orgasm from using this tapered side alone, but with a wand or clitoral vibrator, it feels pretty damn good and I can get there.

After warming up with the slimmer, tapered end, I decided to try out the larger side hoping it would provide enough pressure against my G-Spot to achieve this new, magical type of orgasm. It glides in easily with a dose of lubricant and remained comfortable. The pressure from the bulbous head turned out to be just what I was hoping for and within moments of gentle thrusting and twisting, an orgasm was had. It wasn’t quite as intense as the orgasms I can achieve with the curve, but intense enough to count.

IMG_0479Overall, I find both ends to provide pleasing stimulation. The bulbous end is the side that I prefer to use now as I like the firm pressure and enjoy some G-Spot play. The slim end can be used for internal massages and waking up the G-Spot. I would recommend this toy to those who like G-Spot (or maybe even P-Spot play?) and anyone who is looking for an inexpensive, well-made toy that doesn’t look like a penis. I do prefer the curved version for more intense sessions, but this is a great toy too.
