I purchased this a while ago as a simple cart filler, but it turned out to be a fantastic product that I’ve gone on to love. If you want to find out more about this product, then read on or simply jump to the quick review to find out the facts. The Give Lube Premium Aqua Gel Lubricant is water-based and ideal for all sorts of scenarios. It can be used for masturbation, toy use (with any material) and vaginal/anal sex.
It has a great consistency and is definitely what I’d consider a gel, rather than a slippery pool of water. It’s fairly thick, which makes it a great lubricant to use when I can’t produce much naturally and need some assistance. It is mostly used during masturbation sessions as it provides some release to the uncomfortable friction that huge chunks of silicone can cause. We have used it during sex on occasion and it would be a great choice to throw in a travel bag for this purpose, but I prefer my beloved Sliquid Satin whenever possible.
It doesn’t irritate mine or my partner’s sensitive skin, which could be due to the fact it’s free from the clutches of glycerin and parabens. It could also be down to the addition of Aloe Vera and Panthenol, which is soothing and great for those of us who irritate easily. It’s even been dermatologically tested and had its PH optimised to work with the body. The only downside is that it contains Propylene Glycol, which is an ingredient that I like to avoid where possible and prefer not to have in my everyday lube box.
It doesn’t produce a tacky, sticky, off-putting texture during use and it’s pretty long-lasting for a water-based product. A quick spritz of water can deactivate it anyway. It leaves the skin feeling soft and is easy to remove from the skin once finished, it doesn’t stain or take a lot of scrubbing like a silicone product or greasy lubricant would. It has no odour and according to my partner, not much taste either but he obviously wouldn’t recommend giving oral specifically with this product.
