Review: Icicles No #5 Spiral Glass Dildo

Finding sex toy retailers that stock the best of the best and nothing less is challenging but recently I came across one that does just that. Crimson Princess are a new online store based in England that want to provide a comfortable online shopping experience for people who may find going into brick and mortar shops embarrassing or daunting. Their website is aesthetically pleasing, easy to browse and filled with toys, lingerie and bondage gear from top-rated brands. We have recently begun a collaboration and to kick-start this I was sent a gorgeous piece of glass. I picked out the Icicles No #5 for its delightful spiral texture and bulbous head as I thought it may be fun for G-spot sessions and might make a nice introduction to texture for glass newcomers.

Icicles No #5 Glass DildoMany of Pipedream’s ranges have unethical, misogynistic or tacky packaging but the Icicles range is an exception. The front of the box showcases an image of the product and pulls open to reveal the No #5 behind a window of plastic. It’s classy but simple and I like it. I do find it somewhat disappointing that this range doesn’t include storage bags as I like to store glass separately to prevent scratches or chipping but this is a minor complaint and more of a personal preference than a negative point. I would recommend having something on hand to secure the dildo if planning to purchase it though.

The box mentions some care instructions inside but I’ve mentioned in every Icicles review I’ve ever written that parts of this needs to be updated. It advocates using microwaves and freezers to change the temperature of the material but I strongly advise against doing this. Microwaves can create heat spots that aren’t noticeable until the burn comes and freezers can cause that tongue stuck to a metal pole scenario that we’ve all seen in movies, but instead of your tongue being stuck, it’s your nether regions, and I imagine that would be rather unpleasant to experience. Please stick to the safe methods for experimenting with temperature such as the fridge or a bucket of warm/cold water.

One of the best things about glass is that it can be used with any type of lubricant. The surface is non-porous, non-toxic, odourless, phthalate free and suitable for use with water bases, silicone bases and even oil bases. This body safe material can also be cleaned thoroughly by boiling for a few moments or placing inside the top rack of the dishwasher. If you are switching between orifices (particularly going from anal to vaginal) or multiple partners then I would definitely recommend one of the above options for safety. For daily cleans, soap and water will do the trick and an old toothbrush can be used around the textured areas to remove any lingering fluids.

The Icicles No #5 should be suitable for people with some penetration experience. It has an overall length of 7.25 inches and a maximum insertable length of 6.75 inches. For me personally, I’m quite comfortable using six to seven inches so this was the perfect length for me to feel comfortable during vaginal use. It doesn’t hit my cervix providing I’m relaxed and well-lubricated but it does hit the sensitive spots that are located near there. Width wise, the No #5 has a maximum circumference of four inches which is rather slimline. The texture does make it feel slightly larger so keep that in mind but generally I think it will be suitable for most people who can handle three fingers.

Icicles No #5 Glass DildoI was reminded of an earlier reviewing experience when I used the No #5 for the first time. One of the first products I ever reviewed on this blog a couple of years ago was the Kinx Rippled Teaser. It has a similar colour scheme to the No #5 and a swirled texture around the shaft that’s also reminiscent. The spiral texture is equally spread out across the shaft across the Icicles model whereas the Kinx is quite close together and intense. For that reason alone, the Icicles would win in a contest that was best suited for newcomers and beginners.

Less texture doesn’t mean less sensation or satisfaction though. Now don’t get me wrong, I love texture, but sometimes it’s not quite right for me and that’s usually the case when it’s paired with a toy that has a tip that’s been tapered too much. Again, I’ll go back to the Kinx as it’s head tapers to such a sharp point that it felt like I was being stabbed with each thrust. However the Icicles No #5 has a gentle taper to its bulbous head that’s comfortable to insert, thrust against internal sweet spots and remove. It also has a rounded base which makes for great grip and works wonderfully as a handle.

Each time I use the No #5 I fall in love with it a little more. The texture is delightful. It’s basically a spiral of raised ripples that work their way down the sleek shaft and provide maximum stimulation to the vaginal walls. It’s not the most textured glass piece that I own but there’s enough of it that it does what it’s designed to do. I’ve always found the combination of a cold, rigid surface and bumps/lines/ridges to work particularly well for me and this was no exception. If I use a gentle twisting motion whilst the toy is inserted, the ripples stimulate every internal erogenous zone that they can reach. This alone may have been enough to bring me to the brink of an orgasm but the curvature of the shaft just tips the scales and takes me over the edge.

Icicles No #5 Glass DildoIt’s a subtle curve with little definition but it sends the bulb and the texture that follows towards the direction of one of my favourite stimulation zones, the G-spot. The tip finds the spot with ease and minimal thrusting will provide all of the pressure this area needs to be stimulated to the point of no return.

I have had some fantastic internal orgasms with this dildo and some brilliant blended orgasms when I’ve added a clitoral vibrator into the mix. Vaginal play has been my primary source of use for this dildo but I have tried it out a handful of times for anal too. I did enjoy the few occasions I experimented with it like this but I feel that it would be better suited to anal players looking to achieve prostate stimulation.

Overall, I think I could recommend the Icicles No #5 to glass beginners who are looking to explore or discover their G-spot and/or prostate. For those with more sex toy experience, I’d also be able to recommend it to you if you are a fan of slimmer insertables, temperature play, rigid materials and texture. If I had to list a few downsides, I’d have some trouble as there wasn’t anything I hated but there are a couple of minor niggles that I could point out. The first is the lack of storage and the second is the potentially unsafe information listed on the inside of the packaging. Outside of those things, I can’t really complain as my experiences were positive and pleasurable for both me and my partner.

You can purchase the Icicles No #5 Spiral Glass Dildo (£25.99) from Crimson Princess.

Review: So Divine Wild Thing Jewelled Booty Plug

During 2017, a few companies have shot up on my radar and So Divine are definitely one of them. I have been rather impressed with the quality of the products they’ve released so far and I adore their message of producing safe, affordable sex toys for all. They started out with mini bullets, single speed bullets, classic vibrators and massaging wands that doubled as internal vibrators. Then they continued to expand their range by launching the first butt plug, a petite toy named the Sweet Sensation. It has been my go-to plug to recommend to first-timers ever since I tried it and I’d hoped they’d add more to their anal offerings. A few weeks ago I received word that they’d added two more sizes and I opted to review the larger of the two, the Wild Thing. I will be purchasing the medium Bootylicious to complete the set and I’ll also be hoping to see some vibrating options appear in the near future.

It arrived in typical So Divine fashion – a simple purple and white box with a product photo on the front. It points out a few key features on the side of the box and some instructions for use on the back. Inside, there’s another box which contains the plug, two changeable jewels, a small velvet storage pouch and the information leaflet that comes with all products. It just gives a quick introduction to the brand and some basic cleaning information.

So Divine Wild Thing Booty Plug

So Divine Wild Thing Booty PlugSo Divine Wild Thing Booty PlugSo Divine Wild Thing Booty Plug

Wild Thing is made from soft silicone. This is of course non-toxic, odourless, hypoallergenic and completely body safe. There are no latex or phthalates involved either. A good, hygienic material is necessary for any sort of sex toy but it’s a must-have for butt stuff. The silky silicone has less resistance to it than many other silicone plugs I’ve encountered so there’s not much unwanted friction to remove. It is an anal toy however so this doesn’t mean you should scrimp on the lubricant as we all know the anus doesn’t lubricate itself. A high quality water based anal concoction is what you’ll need and I’d recommend being generous with it as this is a large plug.

Cleaning wise, silicone can occasionally maintain odours after use but this wasn’t an issue for me. For those who may encounter this problem, just bleach the plug (after removing the jewel) with a 10% bleach solution, place it in the dishwasher on a sanitize setting with no detergent or boil it for a few moments. You should clean with one of the above methods if the plug is going to be used by more than one person otherwise rinsing and spritzing with antibacterial cleaner is more than enough.

The Wild Thing Booty Plug has a traditional shape. It has a pointed tip with a rounded body and a slender neck. It has a circular base complete with changeable jewels that is wider than the plugs widest point to prevent unwanted travel. You should never use anything in your butt that doesn’t have a flared base as they can get sucked up/lost and create awkward hospital visits to get them removed. This plug is perfectly safe, easy to insert with some lube and has not slipped out on me during use. I have no concerns about it traveling or moving out-of-place as the base is both sturdy and secure.

So what are the dimensions? It has an overall length of four inches and an insertable length of 2.3 inches. It’s short and unobtrusive like its smaller counterpart but has a circumference of five inches that provides a filled sensation. It is not huge but it definitely should not be used without some slow build up and experience. I have been engaging in anal play and anal sex for a couple of years now so the size wasn’t an issue for me but those who are new to butt stuff should start with the Sweet Sensation and move on to the Bootylicious before attempting the Wild Thing.

The neck and base of this plug have some flex to them which gives the initial impression that they’d be hard to insert and position but there were no issues with this at all. If anything, it makes insertion easier as I can get the correct angle for comfortable entry. As I’d tried So Divine’s beginner plug I knew that I couldn’t accidentally pop out the crystal when pushing against it, as its supported well by the surrounding silicone, but it can be removed easily to change the jewel to one of the other color options. It comes with a gold, light purple and silver jewel that can be changed when wanted. All three colours look very pretty when worn as they sparkle and reflect the light beautifully. It gives a partner a nice view when wearing it and adds some extra details to a plug that would be plain otherwise. I have enjoyed matching the jewels to the finishing touches on the lingerie I wear and absolutely love the fact that I now have three plugs in one.

In regards to how comfortable this is to wear, I’d say very. This is the kind of plug that I can wear for long-term use without having any discomfort. If large plugs are new to you then build up the wear time slowly to not overwhelm your body and prepare to relubricate as needed. I can wear it for three to four hours without needing to top up as it’s so sleek and soft that additional lubricant isn’t needed until that point. Others may need to add more lube sooner, but this is how it worked out for me.

What do butt plugs do other than look pretty? If being worn by someone with a vagina then it can make the canal feel tighter which can be fun for both parties during intercourse. This size definitely created a more obvious difference than the smaller version which my partner liked. I’m naturally quite tight down there anyway as I do kegel exercises regularly and I haven’t had children but there is a difference when wearing a plug that no amount of kegels could achieve. Plugs also place a subtle but noticeable pressure on the back wall of the vagina which makes PIV more enjoyable for me. I’m not a huge fan of vaginal sex but it is better for me when wearing a plug and I can orgasm pretty easily from the combined stimulation without even adding vibration (something I must have during sex without a plug).

As a result of better sex I’ve been wearing this plug on a regular basis since it arrived. I do think this is a great size for my experience level and being able to wear it comfortably during sex without it slipping out is wonderful. I can orgasm in time (or close to it) with my partner whilst wearing the Wild Thing which makes sex feels more intimate and connecting. It enables me to enjoy a sex act that I’m not usually that bothered about which is great for my partner and allows us to create a deeper sexual bond. I would actively recommend this plug by So Divine to people who can handle the size and I’m looking forward to seeing how they expand their anal range in the coming months.

Review: B-Vibe Trio Vibrating Butt Plug

Before we get into this review, we need to appreciate the anal experts that made this product. B-Vibe do absolutely fantastic work promoting safe and enjoyable anal play. Their products, guides and website are all gender neutral, sexuality neutral and welcoming to every body. They have tons of useful information on their site regarding backdoor fun and I would definitely recommend checking them out if you’re new, curious or unsure about anal stimulation. They have sex toys that are suited to different needs and levels of experience and the one I’m talking about today is the Trio. A vibrating butt plug that houses THREE different motors. I know my fellow power queens interest will be piqued by that and I’m happy to report back to them that I was not disappointed at all. It went above my expectations, proving that the Rimming Butt Plug 2 was not just a wonderful one-off but the first in a long line of greats.

The presentation was perfect. It had an outer cardboard sleeve with glossy product shot on the front, a description on one side, a list of key features on the back alongside some images of couples (bonus points for these pictures including multiple sexualities/ethnicities) and a diagram showcasing where each motor is located inside the plug. Under the sleeve there was a purple storage box with a magnetic side opening that opened to reveal a shiny metallic black case. The case held the plug, remote control, charging cable and a guide to anal play. The user manual was hidden underneath this case.

B-Vibe Trio Vibrating Butt Plug

B-Vibe Trio Vibrating Butt PlugB-Vibe Trio Vibrating Butt PlugB-Vibe Trio Vibrating Butt Plug

B-Vibe’s Trio Vibrating Butt Plug is made from luxurious silicone. It is high-quality, top-grade stuff that I can’t fault at all. It’s completely body-safe which means that it’s free from latex and phthalates, has no odour or nasty toxins and is hypoallergenic. It has a gorgeously soft, silky finish that has minimal drag to its surface and attracts less lint than silicone typically hoards. It requires a full coating of water-based anal lubricant for use as the anus does not self-lubricate. You may need to top up on the lube occasionally if you’re planning on wearing the plug for long periods of time or find it starts getting uncomfortable.

After use, the plug should be thoroughly cleaned with warm soapy water and rinsed off. It is splashproof, not fully waterproof, so don’t fully submerge it or use it in the bath/shower. I avoid wetting the base where possible and use antibacterial toy wipes on this area instead. When rinsed, dry with a lint free cloth or leave to dry naturally. It should be not used or charged until it’s completely dry and it should also not be cleaned with sprays that contain alcohol or acetone.

Rechargeable via a sturdy magnetic system, charging couldn’t be simpler. Just attach the magnetic clip to the points on the base and plug the USB into a suitable port. There should be a flashing light to indicate that the charging process has begun which goes solid once complete. In our experience, the plug takes around an hour and a half to charge and gives approximately the same amount of use time but it depends on the settings that have been used. The accompanying remote control is actually battery operated and comes with one pre-installed CR2032 to get you started. You can access the battery by sliding the back off the remote. Make sure to remove the paper disc inside this compartment before use so that it will actually work.

B-Vibe Trio Vibrating Butt PlugYou then have two control options. Manual control or use of the remote. My partner and I tried out both methods and found that it was easier to use the remote. I do like the option of having multiple methods but it can be difficult to change the setting manually whilst the plug is being worn. I only use the base controls if I don’t plan on changing the function I’m using and I don’t need to alter the intensity of the vibrations. All that’s needed for manual operation is a quick tap of the power button. This cycles through the nine modes and also turns everything off when pressed and held for a few seconds.

Controlling via the remote allows more range over the toys possibilities. To activate, turn the plug into standby mode by pressing the power button until it flashes. Then press the central button on the remote and check that the power button has gone solid to confirm the pairing. To change the vibration modes on the remote press the wave button. You can cycle through the nine options or pause all of the vibrations via this button. Press and hold for three seconds to do this. You can then press again once quickly to restart the vibrations

B-Vibe Trio Vibrating Butt PlugThe remote also allows you to change the intensity of each mode. You press the plus to increase and minus to decrease. There are a total of eight levels to choose from. To turn the toy and remote off, press and hold the power button on the plug for a few seconds and tap the power button on the remote once. To lock, press and hold the plus and minus buttons down together for three seconds or the power button on the plug for five seconds. You can reactivate by either method.

So, I mentioned three motors earlier but I didn’t describe the positioning of each one. There is one in the tip, one in the middle and one in the neck. I like the vibrations in the tip best but I also find the stimulation of the vibration in the neck to provide some external sensations that speed up my orgasms immensely. The vibrations are rumbly with some depth to them on the low to medium intensities but begin to get buzzier on the higher settings. Luckily, my butt doesn’t hate buzziness so this wasn’t a problem. Out of the nine vibration modes that are available, most of them use both of these motors which means I can make use out of nearly all of them. Here’s a list of what each function offers:

B-Vibe Trio Vibrating Butt PlugConstant vibration in the tip,
Constant vibration in the neck,
Constant vibration in the tip and neck,
Constant vibration from all three motors,
Pulsing pattern from all three motors,
Oscillating pattern from all three motors,
Fast paced pulsation pattern from all three motors,
Quick up and down pulsation pattern from all three motors,
Random pattern from all three motors.

I mostly stick to the first four modes as I prefer constant speeds but I don’t hate the patterns on this. I usually use the first and second modes to warm up with and then choose between the other two depending how sensitive I’m feeling. If I want maximum intensity then I’ll use the fourth setting to overwhelm my senses and let the toy force an orgasm from me rather than building to one myself. It’s tons of fun to play with during masturbation sessions alongside a clitoral vibrator like the Tango for maximum stimulation and aggressive orgasms but it’s also glorious during penetrative sex with my partner. It provides the well-known tighter vaginal canal feeling during intercourse and doesn’t get in the way of any of our regular rotation of positions. My partner can even control it from the base in the pronebone position which keeps things interesting.

B-Vibe Trio Vibrating Butt Plug

At just over five inches in overall length with 4.3 of them being insertable, this plug falls into the medium category. It has 3.9 inches of girth at its widest point which makes it suitable for those transitioning from beginner plugs to intermediate options. It’s noticeably slimmer than the Rimming Plug 2 so can be used as a warm-up tool or stepping stone to that.

I thought the size was extremely comfortable and the rounded, but tapered, tip didn’t cause a jabbing sensation like some of the other plugs I’ve tried with this shape. It works well with my body and doesn’t cause much of a stretching sensation during wear, making it perfect for those who don’t have tons of anal experience. I can happily wear the Trio for a few hours without having any problems. I enjoy leaving the remote in the hands of my eager partner, allowing the anticipation of not knowing when he’s going to turn it on to build to the suspense of the session. We had tons of fun with this as a couple and I think it’s definitely got potential to be used for public play providing there’s some background noise available. It works from about 30 meters away so a partner can control it from the next room or across the bar without having connection problems.

Overall, I think I have fallen head over heels for the Trio. I love that it can be used with or without the remote control as this gives various options for use and keeps things interesting. It might be difficult to control from the base but I like that the option is there if I want to use it. I have enjoyed it using it on its own, with other sex toys and with a partner so it’s practically perfect for every sexual situation. It has not disappointed me in the power department and I would not hesitate to recommend it to my fellow power lovers. Often multiple motors make a sex toy loud and obnoxious but B-Vibe have managed to make a manage-a-trois that’s quiet enough to use in public. I salute them.

Review: Lovehoney Desire Rimming Butt Plug

As a big fan of Lovehoney’s Desire collection of affordable luxury sex toys and a lover of butt plugs, I was excited to be given the chance to review the latest addition to the range. I tried this remote-controlled vibrating plug recently, which is similar, but the one I’m talking about today also offers rimming features. I was looking forward to seeing how Lovehoney’s Rimming Plug would hold up in comparison to the previously tried, tested and totally fabulous B-Vibe 2. It was made with tons of reviews and snippets of customers feedback in mind, as per the rest of the range, so I hoped that it would be just as gratifying as its predecessor. Did Lovehoney successfully pull this off or should they have left this design to the anal experts? Read on to find out my verdict!

The Desire Rimming Butt Plug arrived in a classy purple and black box with a product shot on the front and traditional Lovehoney heart on the back. Inside the outer box, a gorgeous leather storage case with the same heart logo embossed onto the front is revealed. I am obsessed with these cases as they are really convenient, discreet and can even be locked for extra privacy. Another thing that sets them apart from the bog standard storage pouches is the charging hole that leads out of the back of the cases. It’s beyond useful for charging toys securely and keeping them out of the sight of minors, nosy relatives and pets. It also keeps lint at bay.

Made from a gorgeously silky soft silicone, this plug feels luxurious and high-quality. It doesn’t have as much resistance to it as the previous plug I reviewed from the Desire range but a generous coating of water-based anal lubricant would still be recommended to remove any traces and make insertion and wear more comfortable. I would recommend something slick and long-lasting such as Sliquid Sassy or Lovehoney’s Discover. After use, this waterproof plug should be rinsed thoroughly in warm water and cleaned with soap or antibacterial toy cleaner. If you’re sharing it with a partner then I’d insist on wiping  down with a 10% bleach solution instead.

Like the rest of the range, this plug is rechargeable. Plug the USB connector into a port in your laptop or other suitable spot then place the jack at the other end of the cable into the base of the plug. A light flashes whilst charging and remains on when finished. It is said to take around two hours for a full charge and this can give up to an hour of use depending on the settings used. You’ll know the battery is running low when the light flashes to indicate this. The remote is not rechargeable but it does come with the required CR2032 battery. Just slide the back of the remote off and remove the paper disc from underneath before getting started.

To turn on manually, press the button on the base quickly once and wait for the light to flash. A second push will activate the first mode and each further push will cycle through the remaining four modes. To turn off, press and hold for three seconds. To control via the remote, press the button on the plugs base, wait for the flash and then press the central button on the controller. The plug should then start on mode one. To change modes press the central button again. To change the intensity of the vibrations press the up or down arrows as needed. When vibration and rotation are both present (settings 2 through 5) the rotation speed maintains at maximum.

If you travel with your toys then you’ll be pleased to know this plug has a travel lock. I don’t leave the house much so I don’t often use mine, but it’s nice to know it’s there. It can also come in handy if you have a packed toy drawer and don’t want to risk anything randomly buzzing away in the middle of the night as it pushes up against something else. To activate the lock, press and hold the plugs button for five seconds. A light should flash twice to indicate that it worked. To deactivate, repeat the process or plug it in to charge.

Enough of the basics, let’s talk about the modes. The first is a fast rotation that can be felt throughout the entire bulb and neck of the plug. It feels different to b-vibe’s plug as the rotation there was limited to the neck. If you prefer widespread sensations then this might be the better of the two for you. The second mode continues with the same steady rotation but also adds in some constant vibration. These vibes are primarily located in the base but can travel up to the neck too. Mode three is a pulsing rotation and stop and start of buzzing vibrations. Mode four alternates between rotation and vibration and mode five is like a sped-up version of four.

I use modes one and two 95% of the time. It’s no secret that I enjoy constant vibration and the same seems to apply with rotation. Both of these settings offer me that. I feel that the first mode is perfect for the start of a session for warming up and building the tension and the second mode brings out the big guns needed to bring me to the point of no return. I was seriously surprised by the intensity of the vibrations as I was expecting them to be an afterthought to the rotation/rimming mechanism but they’re actually rumbly and everything I look for in solid vibes.

Although the vibrations are mostly situated within the plugs base, they seem to travel up to the neck well and stimulate the entrance of my butt in a way that I’ve only ever experienced with the other rimming plug in our collection. I’m very sensitive around this area and I think both butt plugs work to this sensitivity uniquely. The Desire Plug offers some extra external stimulation from the vibrations whereas b-vibe’s offer internal stimulation and focuses solely on the sensation of rimming around the entrance. If you prefer your sensations all in one place (the sphincter, entrance and skin around those areas) then I would suggest this plug over the other. If you want internal vibes as well as entrance and sphincter stimuli then I’d opt for b-vibe’s.

Lovehoney Desire Rimming Butt Plug

So, does this rimming plug actually replicate rimming? I would say that it’s not far off. Rimming is a hard sensation to replicate and I think this is a great attempt at capturing the motions. Any mechanical movement is going to feel somewhat different to the movement of someone’s muscles but I must admit that my body reacts in a similar way to this plug as it does to my partner. I can orgasm powerfully with the Desire Plug and I think that’s due to the combination of the rotation tickling all the right sweet spots back there and the extra oomph from the vibrations around the opening.

My partner and I have affectionately named this plug the ‘rocket launcher’ as that seemed most-fitting when describing the shape. It’s super comfortable to wear and insert and the measurements are more than manageable for intermediate anal players. It has a maximum circumference of four and a half inches, overall length of four and a half inches and an insertable length of three and a half. It has a sturdy flared base to prevent unwanted travel and it doesn’t get in the way during PIV. I thought the base might be too chunky at first and prevent vaginal entry but all turned out good. It doesn’t interfere at all and as it has all the extra sensation I could ever need I don’t even need to add a clit vibe into the mix.

Overall, I think the Desire Rimming Plug will be a roaring success for Lovehoney. I’m glad to see them creating something like this as an affordable alternative to the b-vibe 2 as I feel that more people will now be able to explore rimming sensations. I think the shape of this one worked slightly better for me and this one is also a little quieter which makes it the best choice for those who need discretion. It has all the features I could ask for – body-safe material, waterproof, rechargeable, included storage, sturdy flared base, powerful motor and interesting shape. I would be happy to recommend this to anyone who is looking to explore a new kind of anal play who has some experience with insertables.

Review: Furry Fantasy Bunny Tail Butt Plug

I recently found myself in somewhat of a frustrating situation at the hands of a company that shall not be named. They pulled out of doing a giveaway at the last-minute leaving me with no back up plan for the giveaway I had been wanting to do for months. Thankfully, a fellow sex blogger, RandomRedRose stepped in and posted a tweet asking if any companies would be willing to help out and as a result of that, Charlie (from charlielee.eu) got in touch and said he could sort something out. We decided on the Furry Fantasy Bunny Tail Butt Plug in Black and he kindly offered me one of my own to review.

Furry Fantasy Black Bunny Tail Butt PlugThe packaging for this product is very understated and simple. It comes in a velvet drawstring pouch with a simple tag attached. It doesn’t give much information other than the two materials used within this plug but I don’t think anything else was actually needed. Inside the drawstring pouch I found a small resealable plastic bag housing the plug which had been wrapped in tissue paper and a polystyrene like pouch for added protection. It may be basic in its presentation, but I maintained high hopes for its performance.

Furry Fantasy’s Bunny Tail Butt Plug is made from a shiny aluminium alloy. It feels smooth to the touch, is seamless and seemed to be finished well. It is free from latex and phthalates and feels high quality, especially considering the price tag. It hasn’t chipped or flaked at all which makes me confident in stating that this is non-toxic and body-safe. It can be used with any type of lubricant, which is great news for me as I like to use silicone based options with butt toys, although I didn’t want to risk staining the faux fur so I’ve stuck with water based so far. I have been using a 10% bleach solution to clean the plug and so far this has done me well. I’ve had no problems.

Size wise, I’d class this in the range between beginner and intermediate. I have a fair amount of anal experience, be that with my partner and with sex toys, so this was more than suitable for me. If you can take two fingers in your butt comfortably, then this plug should be fine for you. It is 4.72 inches in overall length, but only 2.95 inches are actually insertable. This is quite short for a plug and definitely more in the beginners realm of comfort. As for the girth, it measured in at 3.1 inches at the tip and 4.3 inches around the widest point of the bulb.

Furry Fantasy Black Bunny Tail Butt PlugThe Furry Fantasy Bunny Tail Butt Plug was designed in a classic shape. The traditional and very popular teardrop. This means that there’s a pointed/tapered tip with a rounded body and a slender neck. It has an all important circular base (with faux fur attached) that is wider than the neck to prevent unwanted travel.

You should never use anything anally that doesn’t have some form of sturdy flared base as it could end up getting lost and that would create an uncomfortable (and potentially painful) trip to hospital to get it located and removed.

As I mentioned above, the size was very manageable for me. I found that the plug was easy to insert with a small helping of lube and comfortable to wear once in place. It hasn’t slipped out at all, despite me being used to bigger products and I have no doubts about the base whatsoever. It feels secure and keeps the plug firmly in place until I’m done with it. This plug isn’t large at all so I can wear it for longer periods of time, but sitting down with it in is not much of an option. It isn’t very comfortable and I feel like the tail gets all squashed which ruins the aesthetic. To sum it up, I can clean the house with it in, but it’s not a plug I’d wear to lounge around and get aroused in.

When I was younger, probably mid-teens, I was surrounded by people who thought that anything anal was “disgusting” and “gross” so I adapted myself to that situation and thought those same things. As I’ve gotten older and developed my own opinions and begun trying things out for myself, I discovered that anal was something that I actually really enjoyed. I’ve been experimenting for a few years now but surprisingly butt plugs haven’t come onto my radar until much later. I only started using/trying/buying them around seven or eight months ago and I had always gone back and forth about whether I should get one before that.

I had previously restricted my searches to the most bland, basic, stripped-back designs that I could find and ignored the bright and beautiful, eccentric and fetish types. When I eventually started using butt plugs and realising how fantastic they could be, my mind suddenly started remembering all of these ‘unusual’ plugs that I’d pushed to the back of the shelf and I found myself honing on in animal tails. I was drawn to ponies, cats and fox tails as these seemed to appeal to my inner pet the most, but I wanted to start off with something small and cute like a bunny tail so I didn’t shock myself into never trying a tail again.

Furry Fantasy Black Bunny Tail Butt PlugWhen I had inserted the Furry Fantasy Bunny Tail Butt Plug for the first time, I turned around to check out the tail in the mirror and immediately fell in love with the aesthetic. I thought it looked adorable and my partner agreed. He said that I have a small butt (in terms of cheek size) so the pert fluff of this tail looked well suited between my cheeks. We both agreed that it could be potentially buried between larger cheeks, so a fuller, fluffier tail may be better suited to those who have a butt that Nicki Minaj would envy.

I felt in my element when wearing this plug and I really hadn’t expected to feel that way. Something seemed to click in me that said I’d found something worthwhile, something that worked for me and knowing that I hadn’t even considered it until recently surprised me. I feel that since I’ve started sex blogging I have discovered a lot about myself and I think this particular product has allowed me to explore a fantasy that I never knew (or pretended I didn’t know) I had. I almost wished I had some matching ears and fluffy mittens to complete the look and get fully in the zone, but who knows? Maybe I’ll step up my game again in the coming months and indulge in some animal accessories.

Butt plugs can make the vaginal canal feel tighter during PIV which can be fun for both parties. My partner could notice a subtle difference although he said it wasn’t as obvious as it’s been with other plugs that I have used. I’m quite tight down there anyway as I’ve never had children and I do my kegels often, so I care more about the noticeable amount of pressure placed up against the back wall of my vagina than the sensation of tightness. It increases my chances of orgasm and helps me get off much faster during an act that doesn’t do a whole lot for me on its own. If I combine a clitoral vibrator with the feel of the cool plug and that pressure, I can be in heaven within around ten minutes.
