Review: Toyfriend Nosy Silicone G-Spot Vibrator

When the opportunity arose to test the Toyfriend Nosy for Betty’s Toy Box, I happily volunteered. I was extremely intrigued by the shape and dimensions of this vibrator and the colour caught and captured my full attention. I am so used to seeing pinks, purples and blacks in this industry so when I come across something bright and beautiful like this I get really excited. It comes in a cute sunshine yellow and happens to be the first toy in my ever-expanding collection that comes in this shade. I dig it. It also happens to be the first toy I’ve tried from this brand. All I knew about Toyfriend beforehand was that they were made by Tickler, the Swedish brand associated with the founder of Lelo.

It arrives in a white and yellow cardboard box with a cut out viewing window in the front. It’s simplistic and plain, but does the job of protecting the item inside. The back of the box offered a description, some instructions for use and basic care directions. Inside, I found the Nosy in some plastic casing alongside a small leaflet that introduces the various Toyfriend models. This product does not come with any storage so be sure to pick some up separately to keep it in great condition.

Non-toxic, latex free, phthalate free and hypoallergenic, the Nosy meets all of my body-safe criteria. It’s made from silicone which is notorious for having some resistance and creating a bit of a dragging sensation, but it’s pretty minimal on this vibrator. I only found drag occurring around the embossed brand name on one side of the shaft as the rest is very smooth, soft and well polished leaving little to no friction. Toyfriend recommend using water based lubricant with the Nosy anyway, so this would reduce the drag if it were there. It’s waterproof so can be rinsed with warm soapy water after each use and left to dry naturally. Just be sure that the battery compartment is in place tightly first.

This is a battery operated vibrator that takes two triple a’s. These surprisingly come included, which makes a nice change, and these are placed inside the toy upon arrival. All that you need to do is remove the piece of paper inside the compartment then screw the base back on. On the base there is a singular button that controls all of the toys operation. Press once to start the vibrations, tap again to cycle through the functions and press and hold to turn off.

There are five functions to choose from. Two constant speeds of differing intensities and three patterns. As usual, the patterns were not for me. I find them buzzy, off-putting and generally not my thing but I can vouch for the constant speeds being fun. I had no idea what to expect in terms of strength, but I definitely thought it would be less than it was. It starts out on the stronger intensity which is powerful straight out of the gate and probably just over average. I’m a power queen that can struggle with battery operated vibrators as they often don’t have the motor power I need, but I do think the Nosy has great strength for the type of batteries it takes. Its vibrations travel well throughout the entire shaft although there are two points that are most obvious. Lower portion of the shaft and the head. The strength between them isn’t as strong but I think that’s due to the bend.

Toyfriend Nosy Silicone G-Spot VibratorIf I follow the curve of the shaft then there is 8.6 inches of overall length. This gives me around 6.5 inches of usable length with just enough room remaining to grip onto. The head has a maximum girth of around 3.7 inches at the widest point and the shaft has a consistent width of 4.3 inches. The head is usually the widest point of a g-spot vibrator which makes this toy a bit different, but it doesn’t stop it from being any better or worse than other styles.

I decided to try this for clitoral play before I used it internally as I thought the head resembled a pebble shape which has seemed to work for me in the past. It offers a smooth tapered tip that can provide some precision, albeit not as much as a bullet could, but enough for me to get something from it. The Nosy is firm and inflexible which makes it very easy to get a good amount of pressure and grind the toy into the pubic mound for maximum contact and stimulation. The vibrations felt good clitorally and I was able to get my rocks off although it did take a while. I personally need more intensity for clitoral stimulation than I do for vaginal, so being able to orgasm in this way gave me high hopes for the internal stuff.

You may have noticed that the shape of the Toyfriend Nosy is very unusual. It’s not your typical g-spot vibrator that features a bit of a bulbed head and subtle curve. It reminds me of a couples vibrator actually. If I place this next to the Partner then I think the tip and curve of the Nosy look similar to the shape of the external arm and bend on the Partner. It’s definitely different, unique and unusual so I was excited to put it to the test. I inserted it with the head pointing up towards to my g-spot and noticed that the part of the toy where the curve ends and the shaft begins is exactly when I feel the toy find it. It is an odd-looking device but contours to my anatomy very well.

Toyfriend Nosy Silicone G-Spot VibratorIf I rock the top portion of the shaft (which I like to refer to as the hook as it kind of resembles one) back and forth gently then the firmness of the head almost melts into my g-spot. It gets all the right pleasure spots and provides a perfect amount of pressure. I’d consider it to be more of an internal massage than a battering into oblivion which is something like the nJoy Pure Wand would do. It is a gentle experience and subtle seducer but it is definitely pleasurable and almost effortless to use. I don’t have to move it much to benefit so it’s ideal for a lazy masturbation session.

I may have more powerful vibrating insertables in my collection but that doesn’t mean this one is incapable of doing its job. I can reach an orgasm with it. Admittedly, it doesn’t give me super strong or intense orgasms nor does it make me squirt, but it does give some relief. It’s a quick burst of pleasure rather than a drawn out finale which is my preference for internal stuff. I prefer my quick release clitorally so the way that this worked with my body was sort of mixed up. If I could have climaxed from using it clitorally at a faster pace and had a longer but stronger orgasm internally then it would have been perfect for me.

Overall, I think the Toyfriend Nosy is a decent sex toy but we have different habits. It’s not quite the right product for my body, my preferences or the circumstances I like to masturbate in. That doesn’t make it a bad product though. We can’t all be compatible with every sex toy or we’d find them boring and predictable. I do think this would be a good choice for people who prefer quick bursts of internal pleasure after a slow build up, people who are still exploring their g-spot preferences and people who have weak wrists or joints and aren’t able to thrust much. If you like bright colours, quiet vibrators, unusual shapes and soft silicone on top of all that then this may be a dream come true for you. If you’d rather have the gradual build up followed by explosions of strong orgasms that leave you shivering for ten minutes afterwards then I would look elsewhere.

You can purchase the Toyfriend Nosy ($53.99/£41.38) from Betty’s Toy Box. I received this product free of charge in exchange for my honest review. Thank you!

Review: We-Vibe Ditto

When I saw that We-Vibe were branching out from couples and clitoral vibrators into rabbits and g-spot vibrators I knew that was a sign of good things to come. What I didn’t know was that they were planning to release their first butt plug. I’ve been really getting into all things anal recently so this was some of the most exciting news that I could have possibly read about. I began to envision the Ditto as a butt plug with the motor of the Touch that had the bonus of a remote control. I couldn’t wait to get my hands on one and see whether that prediction was accurate. Thankfully I didn’t have to wait too long to find out as the lovely folks over at Betty’s Toy Box offered me one to review.

It arrived in a small purple and navy box (these happen to be the two colours the product is made in) with a striking product photo on the front. The back advertises a few of the Ditto’s key features and the sides list relevant product information and a brief description. Inside the box I found the Ditto and its remote resting on a foam tray and the charging cable, user manual, warning leaflet and a sachet of Pjur’s We-Vibe Lubricant underneath. There was no storage bag which was an annoyance to me as We-Vibe usually include these and considering that this is an expensive plug I would expect one.

Charging is very straight forward. The Ditto has a magnetic charger which attaches to the points located on the base of the plug and a USB which goes into any available port. I wasn’t thrilled by this at first as the Tango and Touch’s magnetic chargers are frustrating and disconnect easily but this one turned out to be the opposite. It’s a huge improvement and is actually strong enough to remain attached to the toy even with some movement. When it’s charging a blue light flashes and this goes solid once the charge is complete. It takes roughly ninety minutes for a full revamp and this is supposed to give about two hours of use.

We-Vibe Ditto

We-Vibe DittoWe-Vibe DittoWe-Vibe Ditto

We-Vibe’s Ditto is made from a gorgeous supple silicone that is of course odourless, latex and phthalate free, non-toxic, odourless and completely body-safe. It feels smooth and luxurious to the touch but is possibly not as polished as some of their other products. The silicone feels a bit grainier than the silicone used on their other toys – more reminiscent of Fun Factory than the cushy silicone used on the Rave or Touch. It attracts quite a lot of lint as a result so make sure to rinse thoroughly before each use and obviously afterwards with soapy water or toy cleaner. You can use a 10% bleach solution for a deeper clean if more than one person’s butt will be introduced to the Ditto.

To control this plug, there are three methods you can use. The first is by pressing and holding down the singular button on the base for a few seconds then tapping further to cycle through the vibration patterns. I tried this one first but soon realized it was next to impossible to change setting when the plug is being worn. It’s fine if a partner is there to do it for you, but this only works if they can actually see what they’re doing so is only really possible in rear entry positions. The second option is the remote control. Press the up arrow to turn it on and the down arrow to turn it off. These buttons also control the intensity of the vibrations. The side arrows flick through the various modes.

The final option is by We Connect, the We-Vibe app. It no longer stores data without your consent or knowledge, so please do not worry about this or let it put you off trying it. My partner and I found this most useful as we’re in a long-distance relationship and like it when he can take control of my pleasure even when we are not physically together. Before you can do anything else, make sure the device is turned on and activate Bluetooth on your phone or tablet. Find each other and pair up, then follow the instructions on the screen. Press the control button to find the first function and start the vibrations. You can swipe from side to side to change functions or pinch and pull on your selected setting to change the intensity. It’s pretty cool.

We-Vibe DittoI have never tried a butt plug with this sort of shape before. I’ve used those with round bases and t-bars mostly, but I don’t think I’ve ever even seen one with this L formation before. My partner amusingly told me that he thinks it looks like a surfer riding the waves. I really like this style as it feels incredibly sturdy and provides me with reassurance that it will stop the plug from travelling into the body. It is a good preventative base and I can’t see myself having any issues with it.

The plug itself is rather petite so it’s a toy we would class as an introductory plug. It has an insertable length of three inches and a maximum girth of three-point seven five inches at the widest point. I found it very comfortable to insert with a coating of Sliquid Sassy. It may have been designed with the novice anal players in mind but I see no reason why it can’t be enjoyed by all users regardless of experience. Its shape is perfect for PIV sex as it doesn’t get in the way at all and there’s no possibility of it getting lost if my partner gets too excited and pushes on it. This is something I worry about with small, rounder plugs.

We-Vibe don’t seem to know how to make mediocre vibrations and that is one of the reasons I adore them so much as a company. I’ve tried six of their products now and have been impressed with the power of each one. I’d say that the Ditto’s vibrations are a tiny bit weaker than the Touch’s but this could be due to the fact that there’s no squish at all to the Ditto’s silicone and this dampens the sensations slightly. I don’t feel that this is a bad thing though because the power is still above and beyond what I’ve encountered with other vibrating butt plugs so far. I also don’t need as much power in my butt as I do on my clitoris, so a small decrease in strength isn’t the end of the world.

We-Vibe Ditto

I decided to use it as a clitoral toy first because I wanted to get an idea for the intensity. I wasn’t expecting anything to come from it other than knowledge about the product but it cosied into my clitoral hood with ease and the base made a useful handle to grip onto.

The Ditto has a pinpoint tip that I found perfect for direct precision. I adore pin-point stimulation and as the vibrations were strong I had no problems achieving orgasm this way. I was pretty shocked that I could reach a clitoral orgasm from a butt plug as that’s not something that’s ever happened to me before, but I think the shape has everything to do with why this plug works as well as it does.

Following that experience I opted to try this as a vaginal toy too. It’s a firm plug, so I felt that I may be able to get a good amount of pressure against my g-spot if I could angled it correctly. To my surprise, I again found myself writhing around in pleasure. It has an ideal amount of firmness to hit my sweet spot and push me over the edge and the length is perfect for reaching the places I needed it to hit. I didn’t need to thrust with it at all to reach a g-spot orgasm as a simple twisting motion seemed to work beautifully. Again, the base worked as a magical handle that made manoeuvring extremely easy.

We-Vibe DittoAs a butt plug, I really have nothing to complain about at all. It’s very comfortable to wear, doesn’t get in the way of other play and is a great size for warming up to larger anal toys or having anal sex. It provides a somewhat filled sensation when being worn and it’s certainly noticeable, but it doesn’t give that stretching feeling. If that’s something that you crave or prefer in an anal toy then I don’t think this one will be the right one for you.

It can be worn in two different ways – with the magnetic points on the base facing upwards or downwards. I have tried both and like the feeling of both, but I have preferences for which I like to use in certain scenarios. For example, I prefer to have the base facing upwards during sex as I find this the most comfortable and desirable for my body when being penetrated, but the other way is better for me when using the plug alone. I change sides depending on how I plan to use it and both provide fantastic sensations although upwards is my preference at the moment. It’s great to have the option to switch things up and keep things interesting as a plug is usually a one position only sort of toy. It’s one of my favourite aspects of this plug actually.

In terms of noise, I was very impressed. It’s near whisper quiet and it’s extremely rare for me to say that. I usually despise that term as it’s hardly ever true, but this one is genuinely low on the sound. It even dissipates whilst being worn, so it makes this plug an excellent choice for people who want or need privacy and discretion for whatever reasons. I’d be happy to recommend this to someone looking for a quiet vibrating plug although they may outgrow it quickly because of the size. It is quietest when used on one of the three speeds as the patterns (of which there are seven) are up and down with their frequencies and this makes them a bit louder.

Overall, I really hope that We-Vibe bring out a medium and large version of the Ditto at some point so I can continue to test my limits but maintain this level of rumbling and strength. I love so many things about it such as the multiple methods of controlling it, the diverse functions, the unique shape and sturdy base, the gender neutral colouring and design and the fact it’s powerful, body-safe, waterproof and quiet. The only faults I can find are the lack of storage bag and the fact I may outgrow it in a years time.

Review: Rainbow Pop! 6 Inch Silicone Dildo

Rainbow Pop! Silicone Dildo 6 InchAs soon as I saw this dildo, I knew I had to get it. I think it was online for maybe two hours before I gave in and ordered it, because you know, I didn’t want to be too keen. I love toys that aren’t just the typical, over-used pinks and purples, so what could be better suited to me than a rainbow dildo? The answer is nothing. Unless its made by Doxy, We-Vibe or Tantus. Or it has suction. Or its glass. Ok, I have a lot of toys that are suited to me and I’m obsessed with them all, but I hold a special place in my heart for colourful dildos.

The Rainbow Pop! arrived quickly and discreetly in a white cardboard box with a cut-out viewing window in the front. One side of the box shows off a picture of the toy whilst the other shows off the pride colours and the back lists some multilingual, basic care information. Inside the box, the dildo rested within a plastic tray. There’s nothing else included in the box, which is slightly disappointing as I had hoped for a storage bag considering the price.

It is made from a high-quality silicone, that has a firm core and a very minor amount of squish in the tip. This is important as it makes insertion easier. The material feels smooth and luxurious to the touch, but still has some drag, as you’d expect. A good quality water-based lubricant like Sliquid H20 will remove this and make use more comfortable. It attracts a crazy amount of lint so rinsing before each use is essential, even if it has been stored away. A thorough rinse and a spray of toy cleaner or soap after each use will keep it as fresh and clean as possible between uses.

As the core of the Rainbow Pop! is quite firm, I was not expecting it to be very flexible, so I was surprised when I experimented with it and managed to manipulate the tip into touching the base. It doesn’t flop around like a cheap, porous, jelly dildo would, but it does give you the opportunity to alter the angle of the toy should you need to.

Now, I have owned multiple suction cup dildos over the past year, with most disappointing me with their un-desirable amount of stick and willingness to cooperate. I think only a quarter of the suction cup dildos that I own are actually able to be used as such, but this dildo has happily joined that small percentage. Rainbow Pop!’s suction cup feels incredibly sturdy and reliable, with no chance of it flinging off the shower tiles mid-ride. It has to be removed from the surface by placing two fingers under the cup and it can’t just be pulled off the surface by the tip like some weaker toys can.

In use, I found this dildo to be a fantastic size. It’s slightly smaller than my other half, so it’s not intimidating to him and honestly, even if it was bigger, I doubt he’d be intimidated by something so colourful. I find this toy extremely useful to use to warm-up with before engaging in sex with him. It has an overall length of eight inches, but only six are insertable as the rest is just the balls and suction cup. Its girth is  a maximum of five inches around the widest part, which is filling without being overwhelmingly so. It doesn’t create too much of a stretching sensation which is good as I can often find this painful, rather than pleasurable.

I am typically speaking not a huge fan of realistic toys, but this one has very minimal detailing. It does have a realistic head and coronal ridge, but the very faint vein detailing on the shaft is barely noticeable and it cannot be felt during use or insertion. I thought from first glance and appearances that the coronal ridge might catch on my pubic bone upon insertion due to how well it’s defined, but so far, I have not had any such problems.

Rainbow Pop! 6 Inch Silicone DildoThe Rainbow Pop! feels great to thrust with, ride on or simply clench around to enjoy the girth. I can insert the full length of the shaft as it’s not quite long enough to hit my cervix, so use is comfortable and enjoyable. I seem to use this dildo more with my partner than I do alone, whether it’s him using it on me or dabbling in double penetration. I think this is because he is able to be more vigorous with it than I am and he seems to be able to hit the places that I can’t from his angle. If I’m using this dildo alone then I need to also be using a clitoral vibrator in order to orgasm, but if he’s in control then I can orgasm on most occasions.

Overall, I think the Rainbow Pop! is absolutely worth its retail price of £44.99. It’s extremely difficult to find high-quality silicone toys that are on the larger side, so they’re always going to be a little more expensive, but in my opinion, they’re so worth it. It’s going to last so much longer than something cheap and porous. It has been made wonderfully and I think it’s so aesthetically pleasing that I would honestly leave it out for decoration if I didn’t still live with family. The Rainbow Pop! is not just a toy for people in the LGBTQ community who are celebrating pride, it’s for its supporters too.

Review: Fun Factory Moody

Fun Factory MoodyI absolutely adore Fun Factory. I have several of their products now and I just can’t get enough of their stunning designs, colour options and innovations. I have chosen to review the Moody first, as this is the one that I’ve used the most thus far and it’s also my favourite out of the collection I’ve accumulated, closely followed by the Tiger.

The packaging was the same style that I’ve encountered with products I’ve previously purchased from this brand and I’ve come to love it. It’s understated and simple, but there’s something luxurious about that in my opinion. The front of the cardboard sleeve contains an image of the Moody, which is actually true to size and underneath this, a gold box is revealed. Inside the box, you’ll find the vibrator under a strip of cardboard along with the user manual and the charging cable.

The Fun Factory Moody is made from 100% medical-grade silicone, which is completely body-safe and free from latex and phthalates. It has absolutely no odour, which is great and it also has the bonus of being hypoallergenic, non-toxic and non-porous. The silicone is smooth to the touch, thanks to the luxurious matte finish, which makes this toy extremely pleasing to the eye, but means it attracts a ridiculous amount of lint. Luckily, this vibrator is completely waterproof so rinsing before each use is no problem and cleaning afterwards with toy cleaner and water is effortless. As the finish is matte, the material has more drag to it than I expected, so plenty of water-based lubricant is needed and recommended for reducing that friction.

Before I could use the Moody, I had to place it on a full charge. The manual recommends around eight hours for the first time and six to eight afterwards, which might seem like a long time, but it’s totally worth it. From my experience, a full charge lasts around two to three hours of use on the maximum speed. To charge it, simply plug the USB into your chosen charging port and attach the other end of the charger to the magnetic points located at the base of the toy. The charger lights up permanently when in use and the Fun button flashes when first connected. When the toy reaches its halfway charging point, you’ll notice that the minus button has a steady glow and the plus button flashes faintly, which leads to both glowing steadily as the charge increases. Once the charge is at 100% the Fun button will once again begin to flash.

Fun Factory MoodyAfter several hours of impatiently waiting, the Moody was finally ready. It’s operated via a three-button control panel, a fun button & a plus & minus. The fun button turns the toy on & when held down for a few seconds it turns it off. The plus button increases the intensity & cycles through the various settings, whilst the minus button decreases the intensity & cycles back down through the functions. It also has a travel lock which can be activated by pressing the fun and plus buttons at the same time & deactivated by pressing the fun and minus button.

I decided to use this against the clitoris to begin with, which I wasn’t sure would work due to the squishy tip, but surprisingly it somehow managed to do it for me. I tend to prefer harder toys against my clitoris as I like firm pressure without the toy moving or the vibrations being dulled, but for some reason, the Moody went against those things and still won me over. It wasn’t on par with the strongest toys that I own, but it’s still a powerful toy so the vibrations felt great and an orgasm was possible. I would happily use this toy for that purpose again, although I think it shines best at it’s designed purpose as a g-spot stimulator.

Coating the vibrator with a generous serving of Sliquid, I inserted it and found it slid into position with ease. I thought it was really comfortable due to the flexibility of the top portion of the shaft and the squishy tip that I mentioned earlier. It has a fantastic shape for g-spot stimulation and the curved tip is absolutely excellent at finding the right spots to hit. If I use quick thrusting or a forceful rocking motion I can have my world rocked in a matter of moments. I think the reason I can orgasm so easily with this toy is because of the additional stimulation of the vaginal walls. The textured swirls in the shaft can be felt against the vaginal walls stimulating away whilst the head targets the g-spot. The combination of the two is bliss.

Fun Factory MoodyIt doesn’t quite hit the a-spot, but I think the sensations it brings to other areas of the vagina are more than enough. It has a satisfying girth of 5.3 inches around the widest part of the shaft, which feels slightly bigger due to the texture, but is not overwhelming. It is a toy that makes me feel full, but it doesn’t cross the line into uncomfortable, so I think it would be manageable for anybody who has some experience with insertables and enough lube on hand. The length is around four inches, which might not sound like much, but it’s really all that I need with a vibrator like this.

I absolutely love the vibrations that this toy has to offer and they feel similar in strength to the G5 line. I personally feel that settings one through four are rumbly whilst five and six are slightly buzzy, although it’s not by much. I think these vibrations feel strongest in the widest point of the shaft, but they travel well throughout the entire toy. The strength is great and it’s more than enough for me to orgasm with, particularly internally. It has six patterns that all have a nice amount of power too, although they don’t do anything for me as I’m more of a constant vibration kinda girl.

The only downside that I can think of is that the vibrations travel through to the handle, which can numb the hand during use and feel slightly irritating. It’s something that I can cope with in the name of awesome orgasms, but I’d much rather it didn’t happen. If Fun Factory could find a way to make these handled toys without the vibrations travelling to the handle, I think I’d have absolutely nothing to complain about other than the amount of lint the toys attract.

Fun Factory MoodyIn terms of noise, I did my usual test of standing outside the bedroom door with it left on full intensity whilst on a flat surface. I find this is when a toy is at its loudest, so it’s the most accurate way to tell if it can be heard or not from the hallway. It could be picked up on very faintly without any background music, but any sounds from a vibrator are soon gone once the bedroom door is closed. If you’re using this with a closed-door and a fan or the tv on in the background, I can’t see there being any problems with discretion, so based on that, I’d be happy to recommend it to people who value quietness.

You can purchase the Fun Factory Moody ($139.99/£109.28) from Bettys Toy Box. Affiliate links have been used within this review.

Review: Doxy Don

Doxy SkittleSo, I must admit that I’m running late with this review. In my defence, I purchased it late and I kept getting distracted using it, but I’m finally ready to put my thoughts down. I will mention now that because I’m so behind on this review, this product has now changed names. It’s no longer the Skittle. As far as I can tell, the product itself hasn’t changed but the marketing, name and packaging all have. I would usually describe the packaging here, but as its changed since I received mine, I’m not going to bother this on this occasion.

It’s made from hypoallergenic, non-toxic and body-safe premium silicone which is smooth to the touch. It has a silky finish, so it glides easily against the skin and has minimal drag to it. A small amount of water-based lubricant is recommended to remove that drag and to make the experience more comfortable if you plan on using it internally. It is a mains-powered toy so it’s not waterproof, which means toy cleaner and patting dry with a cloth is the best way to keep it clean and sanitized. I use antibacterial toy wipes between uses too, just to be on the safe side.

The Don is 7.25 inches in total length and it has a small protruding arm which is around 2 inches long. The maximum circumference of this arm is around 3.6 inches, which is fairly slimline and should be suitable for most people to take comfortably, be that vaginally or anally. The body of the toy is much wider and has a maximum 7.5 inch circumference, which means there’s plenty of toy to hold onto. As I mentioned before, this toy is mains-powered and I was really impressed with the length of the wire as it’s 12 foot long and stretches across from the socket to the middle of my bed with ease.

Doxy Skittle ReviewThe control panel is on the wire, rather than the body of the toy, which makes controlling very easy for your partner to do. I think this makes it a great couples and anal toy as you don’t have to get into awkward positions to change the function. It has a three-button interface, a power button, a plus and a minus. The power turns the vibrator on, but it also takes you to a pulsation mode if you hold it down for a few seconds. The plus button increases intensity and the minus decreases, as you may have already figured out. The control panel lights up blue when in use, which is really helpful if you’re using this in the dark.

It can be used for a multitude of different things, from clitoral and g-spot play to penis and prostate stimulation. It can even be used for body massage, although I prefer a wand for that. My personal preference for this toy is to use it as a clitoral stimulator. If I hold the short arm against my clitoris, I can use as much pressure as I want and all of these lovely, rumbly vibrations pour out of it. It’s not quite as powerful as the wands that Doxy make, but it’s definitely stronger than a lot of vibrators that I’ve tried. The vibrations travel deep below the surface and penetrate every single nerve within the clitoris, leaving a rumble passing through your entire body. I’m often shaking and trembling for a few minutes after orgasming with the Don.

It kind of forces the orgasm out of you, whether you’re ready and willing for it to happen or not. It has this raw, aggressive strength that just rips a climax out of you, which makes this toy a fantastic option if you’re looking for something reliable. If I want a quick and intense orgasm, but my Tango isn’t charged and I don’t want to hold something as heavy as the Die-Cast, then this is the toy that I’m going to reach for, knowing I’ll be satisfied within a matter of minutes.

I would have liked maybe one more intense for clitoral play as I did find myself wanting to hit the plus button one more time, but it’s still strong enough to take an orgasm from me. I am a power queen, so this vibrator will probably be mind-blowing enough already for those who aren’t, but as I can handle something a little stronger, one more setting would have given me everything that I wanted.

I don’t find it does much for me vaginally as it’s too short to hit my g-spot, but it is wonderful for anal stimulation. I don’t need much girth or length anally, the vibrations are more than enough to get me off. If my partner inserts the Don anally whilst we have sex, I’m going to be spasming on the other side of the bed within a minute or two and that is guaranteed. I haven’t tried it on him yet, as he’s not keen on prostate toys at the moment, but I will return to this review if that changes within the near future.

I think the Don is a quiet toy, in fact it’s almost silent. I would say this toy is suitable for those who need discretion and a closed-door or bit of background noise will cover the sound. This is a fantastic solution for power kings and queens living with thin walls, parents or away at University who need discretion, but also the type of power only mains-powered vibrators can offer.

Doxy SkittleOverall, I’m super happy I own the Don and whilst it’s now being marketed as an anal toy – it still has its uses for clitoral stimulation. I think this is a great couples toy and I would highly recommend it to anyone who can handle the power.
