Review: Partner Whale Couples Vibrator

The term “couples vibrator” is one that sparks a great deal of debate on social media, blogs and forums. This is because these types of sex toys tend to be inclusive to one particular type of couple (a straight, male/female partnership) and don’t vouch for other couplings. I’m not majorly fond of the term myself but for the purpose of this review I shall be using it as this toy has clearly been designed with a couple in mind. I bet you guessed that based on the name Partner though. I do think this was intended to be used by a straight pairing but I believe that anyone in a partnership consisting of a vulva, clitoris and something penetrative (be that a finger, a penis or a dildo) could potentially make it work.

I haven’t tried many couples vibrators over the past couple of years that I’ve been reviewing, but the handful I have tried have all been at the higher end of the pricing scale. I was intrigued by the Partner range for that very reason as all of their current models come in at entry-level to mid-range price tags. I understand that not everybody wants to, or can afford to, splash out over $100 on a We-Vibe Sync or Classic, so I had high hopes that one of these models would be good enough for me to recommend as a more affordable alternative. I have tried all three of the existing models now so it’s time to answer the big question. Which one is the best? The Partner? The Partner Plus? Or the uber cute Partner Whale?

Arriving in a white and blue cardboard box with a glossy product shot on the front and back, I was pleased with the presentation. The images were tasteful and gave off a welcoming, non-intimidating vibe that would be ideal for those who may be new to the sex toy scene or introducing a toy within their partnership for the first time. The box lists some key features on the sides such as the number of functions, materials used and the fact that it’s waterproof. Inside, I found the Partner Whale, the charging cable and a user manual. There’s no storage included.

Made from a combination of velvety soft, smooth silicone and a touch of abs plastic, there’s no concerns about the safety of this toy. It’s non-toxic, latex and phthalate free, odourless and hypoallergenic.   I expected the Partner Whale to have some drag to its silicone body because of the ridged texture on the internal arm but there wasn’t much at all. It has some, as silicone always does, but nothing that a quick coating of water based lubricant couldn’t remove. I lube up both the internal arm and the area of the external arm that makes contact with the clitoris for comfort. After use, I give it a thorough rinse with warm soapy water and leave it to dry.

It is a rechargeable vibe with a USB connector on one side and a magnetic cap at the other which attaches to the corresponding prongs on the toy. The control panel flashes whilst the Whale is charging and the light goes solid once complete. The manual states that each charge should take around two hours, which I’ve found to be accurate, and this should provide up to sixty-five minutes of use. We’ve found the use time a little less but we tend to use it on the high power speed consistently.

There’s only one button on this vibrator and that is located on the external arm. Press it once firmly for a few seconds, wait for the control panel to light up and the vibrations will begin. Tap to cycle through the ten available functions and press and hold down for a few seconds to turn off. One button means it’s easy to understand but it also means you have to scroll through all of the settings if you miss the one you were looking for. I’d have loved a central power button with up and down arrows to change settings more conveniently. I hope this will be the case with future Partner vibrators.

The Whale has the same irritating order of patterns as the other two models that I tried. The manual states that pressing and holding the button down for two seconds will start the vibrations at the lowest massage level but from my experience with the Partner range so far, this isn’t true. All of them have started on high intensity before going down to medium, low and then the seven patterns. This is deeply confusing to me as the majority of people seem to like to start at the bottom and work up to full strength, not start on full and crawl back down.

I personally whack my vibrators up to full power straight away on most occasions so this wasn’t majorly problematic for me but I can see why it would annoy other people who prefer the opposite. I like a ton of strength with rumbly vibrations but this combination seems to be hard to find in these types of couples vibrators. Partner’s Whale doesn’t have any depth to its vibrations whatsoever. All of the sensations are surface level and buzzy. They couldn’t reach most of my external nerve endings. They do have a reasonable of strength to them and the buzzing is tolerable but it takes a while for me to get off from them.

The Whale has a very similar shape to the Partner Plus but the dimensions are different. The external arm is 3.5 inches around at its widest point which covers the entire clitoral area. The internal arm has 2.3 inches of usable length and a maximum girth of 2.5 inches. This is not very wide at all so I expected my above average partner to have no problems inserting him underneath it. My partner has a larger girth that provides a full feeling at the best of the times so I did feel rather like I had reached full capacity with both of them inside. If it had been much wider then I think I would have struggled to accommodate them both but it was manageable with warm-up and splashings of lube.

I can’t say that our encounters with the Whale have been the most comfortable sexual experiences for my partner. He felt that thrusting was difficult with this toy as the external arm kept sliding out of position each time he pulled back, poking his schlong. I think external stimulation is the most important part of a couples vibrator so the fact that the pressure kept disconnecting as the external arm moved back ruined the experience for me. This was not an issue with the Partner or Partner Plus so I can’t put my finger on a reason why this occurred with the Whale. I would have thought that the subtle texture made for better grip than the silky soft silicone that the others have but apparently not.

One thing I loved about the Whale was the internal arm. I wasn’t fond of the squishy, flexible arm that the previous models had and Partner have improved on that massively with this version. It has a firmer shaft that gives me adequate pressure and the added bonus of ridged texture on its inside. These ridges aren’t defined enough to bring me to climax on their own but I always appreciate some love and attention against my front wall. I felt the shaft was just about long enough to hint, grind and push against my g-spot in sync with my partners movements but it may not fit everybody’s anatomy in the same way.

Overall, I think the Whale has adorable aesthetics, a fitting colour scheme, better firmness than the previous two models and fun texture to add some extra flavour. It has all of the benefits of the others such as body-safe materials and being rechargeable, quiet and waterproof. It unfortunately also has the downside I’ve commented on previously – buzzy vibrations. For the next model I would love to see a change in motor. Low frequency, rumbly vibrations would be fantastic. I’d also love to see a three button control panel for ease of changing the settings. If those two things were combined with the shape of the Partner Plus, the dimensions of the Partner and the aesthetics and texture of the Whale then I think I’d have found my perfect match.

Review: Lovehoney Hummer Deluxe Wand Attachment

We haven’t tried many wand attachments. In fact, I think the only ones we had tried prior to the arrival of Lovehoney’s new Hummer Deluxe Wand Attachment were the three that were designed to be used with the O-Wand. The O-Gasm was the model designed for penis owners and it seemed to work very well for my partner. We didn’t have anything to compare to that attachment until now but I have to say that we struggled to compare these two. Mostly because the two materials used are so different and this makes the sensations feel distinctly fresh. I have seen a lot of similar products on the market to the Hummer so I don’t know whether Lovehoney’s is any better or worse than those, but I do know that I should have ordered my partner one years ago as he flippin’ loves it.

Lovehoney Hummer Deluxe Magic Wand AttachmentIt comes in the standard packaging that we’ve come to know and love for Lovehoney’s own-brand products. It’s simplistic and minimal in design. A white box with blue lettering and a clear product shot on the front. Inside, the Hummer can be found within some plastic wrap. It doesn’t come with any storage, so do be sure to pick up some sort of storage pouch if purchasing as this material should not be stored touching other toys or materials.

Y’all know that I am only here for body-safe products but it seems to be difficult to find silicone masturbators that aren’t realistic. My partner and I make the exception for external toys that are used on him and will use sex toys that are made from TPE. It is porous so it can never be properly cleaned and should be checked regularly for mold spots or material changes. It should be discarded and replaced at least once a year, maybe even more frequently if used often. We do rinse it with water and toy cleaner as best as we can after each use and leave to air dry for as long as required.

I was half expecting an odour upon removing the Hummer from the plastic, but neither he or I could pick up on anything. Materials like this generally have some sort of scent, although it’s not as unpleasant as PVC or Jelly, but we seemed to avoid that hurdle on this occasion. This was great news for both of us as an unpleasant odour would have certainly put us off wanting to use it. It did meet my expectations in all other areas such as stretchiness and quality though. There is some give to this squishy material, but water-based lubricant is an absolute must have.

Adding a slick coating of Lovehoney’s Enjoy Lube to himself and the sleeve, my partner placed the Hummer on top of our gorgeous new Lovehoney Deluxe Magic Wand and guided himself inside the sleeve. He is slightly above average in the girth department so it was definitely a learning experience in regards to how much lubricant was required to get him inside comfortably. Once we had figured out a suitable amount for him, getting his penis in and out of the sleeve was quick, painless and friction free.

I started the vibrations on low and asked him how he’d like to use the attachment. After all, this experience was all about his needs and preferences. He decided that he should take control of the wand first and move it back and forth gently to massage his penis and get a feel for the textured sleeve. He said that the ridged end felt better for him than the noduled side, so he entered from this side on each further test run. He liked that the ridges made contact with the sensitive areas such as the underside of his penis head. The vibrations, even on low intensity, made the texture feel more intense apparently and the combination of the two was definitely successful in extracting orgasms from him.

Later, he wanted to try it with me in control of the wand. I turned the vibrations up to max and held the wand in place. He claimed that this felt fantastic and I could see that for myself from the squirming that occurred. It was his preferred method of using the attachment when a quick release was on his mind. He did mention that it could be too intense for those with a super sensitive penis, but for him, it was good. He liked that this method was hands free as this allowed him to either stimulate his nipples or touch me, which are both great sources of extra stimulation for him.

Overall, I cannot believe that it has taken us this long to try a stretchy penis attachment for a wand. I was caught up in the safe silicone of the O-Gasm attachment so never considered something like this, but I’m glad my partner put himself forward to review it as it actually worked wonders for him. His final thoughts were that this felt good for him regardless of how it was used and he’d be happy to recommend it to other penis owning peeps out there. The only downsides for him were the squelching noises it makes (not dissimilar to the sound of a Tenga egg) and the fact that it won’t last forever like his silicone one will.

Review: Broad City Precious Package Love Egg

When I heard the news that Lovehoney were going to be launching a Broad City sex toy collection at ANME, I was rather surprised. I had never expected or even thought about a collaboration between a sex toy company and a mainstream tv channel like Comedy Central before, but the surprise was a welcome one. My partner and I love to curl up at the end of the day and watch an episode or two of Broad City before engaging in an evening of fun and intimacy so this range seemed perfectly suited to us. If you’re a fan of the show like us then this range will be right up your street, but there should be something suitable for everyone who’s fond of bright and colorful sex toys.

Broad City Precious Package Love Egg VibratorThe packaging for this range is one of the first things that got my attention. It’s clean, clear and full of bright colours and sass. It definitely tickles my fancy and is super on point branding wise. The Precious Package Love Egg arrived in a white cardboard sleeve that had Broad City written across the top and image of the two stars of the show, Abbi and llana near the bottom. The back showed another picture of the pair along with some of their quotes and some basic product information regarding batteries, materials and cleaning.

I quite like the appearance of this love egg although I would have preferred it if there had been no pink involved. The controller is mostly black with a splash of pink detailing around the buttons, which actually looks great, and it reads ‘Carpe Dayum’ on the front and Broad City on the back. Attached to the controller is a medium length wire that connects to the bright pink egg. It’s not as in-your-face as the packaging or some of the other products from this collection, but it’s not the most basic design either. The only thing outside of the pink that I wasn’t crazy about was the seam on the egg. It felt noticeable at times if I’d scrimped on the lube.

Precious Package is made from a PU coated ABS Plastic. This coating makes the surface extremely smooth to the touch and reduces any drag that the plastic would ordinarily have. It feels almost matte-like and attracts barely any lint, dust or pet hair. I wouldn’t say that lubricant is essential during use as the egg is pretty petite, but for beginners or people who don’t produce much natural lubrication, a slather of the water-based bottled stuff may make insertion more comfortable and reduce the feel of the seam. After use, simply rinse off the egg and wash with soapy water. Don’t wet the controller though. This should just be wiped down as deemed necessary.

Broad City Precious Package Love Egg VibratorBattery wise, this toy takes two double A’s and these are placed inside the controller. Simply unscrew the base, place inside the compartment as directed and screw the base back on firmly. I found it easy to remove and replace which was unusual as these compartments are often stiff.

To start the vibrations press the up arrow on the remote. You can tap this button four times to take you throw the four available settings. The lights will turn on beside the numbers on the control panel to indicate which setting is being used. To cycle back down the vibrations or turn the toy off press the down arrow.

I have had a couple of Lovehoney’s wired love eggs before (this BASICS one and this Power Play one) and had been reasonably impressed on those occasions so I hoped this one would be on the same wavelength. The first setting was a good start. It was a tiny bit rumbly and very low-pitched but not tickle-like or weak in terms of intensity. It starts to pick up in strength from setting two but this is where the vibrations also start to become buzzy. I thought the last setting was hand-numbingly high frequency so I couldn’t even attempt to use this clitorally as I knew it would desensitize me and leave my clit tingling in the wrong ways.

Broad City Precious Package Love Egg VibratorThe egg was easy to insert as its small and slim so I think it should be more than manageable for beginners to sex toys or people who are completely new to vaginal penetration. It has a maximum girth of 3.4 inches and just 3 inches of length, which makes it a great option for newcomers. It also has a rounded tip to make insertion and wear comfortable. It’s a traditionally oval-shaped egg with no curves to it, do it doesn’t hit any internal sweet spots for me, but it does provide some good old vaginal stimulation which can be just as fun.

I have to admit that the Precious Package is not the strongest egg on the market and probably not even one of the strongest of its category, but I can see where it may have its place in a collection. I personally struggled to orgasm with it on its own so I asked my partner for assistance.

Broad City Precious Package Love Egg VibratorHe blindfolded me and took control of the remote which instantly improved the feel of the vibrations. I felt that being blindfolded increased my sensitivity and heightened the sensation to make the vibrations feel better than they usually would. There’s also the added excitement of not knowing what setting he’s going to use or whether he’s going to incorporate something else into the mix.

I believe the anticipation is what made the end result possible. I did end up reaching orgasm on those occasions that I was blindfolded with my partner in control so I’d say that this toy is definitely more of a couples experience for us than a solo use vibrator. The thrill was all in the tease. The vibrations just weren’t enough for me on their own, possibly because of the buzziness, so this toy didn’t really work without the element of surprise and suspense. It may be different for the non-power queens of the world and I’d love to hear about it if so, but I personally won’t be using it to masturbate with.

Broad City Precious Package Love Egg VibratorOverall, I like the aesthetics of the Precious Package, the branding is on point and it has easy to use controls, but it didn’t have the right frequency for me to enjoy the vibrations alone. If they had been deeper and not so high-pitched then it may have been another story. I’d be happy to recommend this to couples wanting to explore toys together, wanting some foreplay fun or simply wanting to explore something gentle as an introduction, but the rechargeable toys in this range may be better suited to the more initiated toy users.

Review: Partner Plus Couples Vibrator

Couples vibrators are generally created with a straight partnership in mind, which is why I think theirs term sparks a lot of debate on social media, forums and blogs as it’s only inclusive to one particular type of couple. I’m not overly keen on the term myself but for the purpose of this review I will be using it as its true that this vibrator been designed with two users in mind. Hence the name Partner. I don’t believe it’s strictly limited to straight couples though as anyone who has a vulva, clitoris and a partner who can penetrate them (be that with a finger, a toy or a penis) could make the Partner Plus work.

I haven’t tried many couple vibrators at this point in my reviewing career, but I’ve come across a handful that are mostly at the mid to high-end of the pricing scale. For that reason the Partner range intrigued me as all of their current models come in at entry-level to mid-range price tags. I know that not everybody can afford to, nor might they want to, fork out over £100 on a We-Vibe Sync or Lelo Tiani 3 so I had hoped that at least one of the Partner toys would be a good affordable alternative that I could recommend. This range of couple vibrators are designed by the same folks who own Satisfyer so I was curious to see whether the brands success would carry over into their latest venture. Read on to find out whether their Partner Plus was a hit or a miss…

Arriving in a white and purple cardboard box with a glossy product shot on the front and back, I was pleased with presentation. The images were tasteful and I think they give the product a welcoming, non-intimidating vibe to those who may be new to the sex toy scene or introducing a toy within their pairing for the first time. The box lists some key features on the sides such as the number of functions, which materials have been used and the fact that it’s waterproof. Inside the box I found the Partner Plus, the charging cable and a multi-lingual user manual. There is no storage pouch or case included, so be sure to pick something up separately to keep it in.

Made from a combination of smooth, velvety soft silicone and a touch of abs plastic, there’s no need to have concerns about the safety of this toy. It’s not toxic, it doesn’t contain latex or phthalates, it is odourless and hypoallergenic which means it can be cleaned easily. I thought that the silicone of this vibrator would be quite draggy but I really didn’t notice much of this at all. It has a small amount, as all silicone sex toys do, but nowhere near as much as I’d anticipated. The brand recommend using a splashing of water based lubricant on both arms for maximum comfort. Following use, rinse away any signs of use with soapy water and leave to dry for next time.

Charging is so simple. It comes with a USB plug on one end which can be placed into a laptop or computer and a magnetic cap at the other end which attaches to the corresponding prongs on the Partner Plus. The control panel will flash whilst charging and go solid once complete. The user manual advises that the first charge could take up to eight hours but ours only took about four as it came with some charge preinstalled. Each additional charge has taken around two hours and lasted just over an hour each time. This is good for about two uses per charge.

Theres only one button on the Partner Plus which is located on the front of the external arm and this controls everything. To turn the toy on, press and hold this button firmly for a few seconds and the control panel will light up and the vibrations will begin. Tap to cycle through the ten functions and press and hold tightly again to turn off. It’s frustrating that there’s only one button as this means having to scroll through all of the settings if you miss the one you were looking for and it kills the mood slightly. I can see why no other buttons were added as this isn’t a girthy toy and it’s also inexpensive, but I’d love to see it as a possibility for future models.

One aspect that confuses me about both of the Partner models I’ve reviewed is the order of the settings. The manual states that pressing and holding the button down for two seconds will start the vibrations at the lowest massage model but in my case, both the Partner and the Partner Plus started on the highest before going down to medium, low and then the patterns. I’ve seen a growing trend in companies ordering the speeds like this as it has me lost as I know most people like to start out at the bottom and work up to full strength, not start on full and climb back down the power ladder.

For me personally I tend to send my toys up to full intensity straight away so this isn’t a major dilemma for me, but I can see why it would annoy others who prefer and need to do the opposite. I’m a power queen and love myself some rumbly vibrations but it’s very difficult to find couples toys that have both the right strength and depth to them. Unfortunately, the Partner Plus didn’t have that depth, or any sort of depth to them really. I struggled to feel anything below the surface level of my clitoris and the settings were all what I’d call buzzy. Tolerable buzzy, but buzzy nonetheless. I preferred the vibrations that belonged to the Partner although there aren’t any internal vibes on that particular model.

Now this edition of the Partner Couples Vibrator is slightly larger than the original in terms of girth. It has 2.75 inches around the widest point, which doesn’t sound huge, but it’s slightly more cumbersome than the original if your partner is well endowed as mine is. The original is just under two inches which makes it ideal for beginners and those who don’t like the stretching sensation, so I’d recommend that as a first couples vibrator for anyone in the above scenarios. My partner is just above average in terms of girth so this one does provide a more filled sensation than the original for me, which is what I prefer.

Partner Plus Couples Vibrator

I did wonder whether the Plus would be long enough to hit my g-spot as it only has an insertable length of just over three inches, but it’s just about right. It may not be the perfect positioning for everyone due to anatomy differences, but I can make it work for my body. It manages to touch up against my spot but it wasn’t the best at stimulating it. This was purely due to the amount of flexibility and squish the internal arm has. It’s a touch firmer than the original, but still not firm enough for my bodies needs and wants.

I need rigid pressure against my g-spot in order to get anything pleasurable out of the experience or come close to orgasm, so the Partner Plus kind of disappointed me in that respect. It’s just too soft for me. The experience was a little better once my partner got involved as his penis pushed the internal  arm upwards to force it to make constant contact with the spot and rub around against it. It wasn’t enough to provide the stimulation that I need or push me over the edge to an orgasm, but I did like the filled sensation that I got from that being inside me alongside my partner.

As for the external arm, I had no issues getting it to sit over my clitoris accurately. This offers more of a firm body so I was able to place it in position without needing to hold onto it or grind it into my pubic bone. I could have clitoral fun hands-free for one of the first times and that experience was wonderful. It felt good to be able to feel vibrations and my partner at the same time whilst allowing my hands to roam free or be tied above my head as he dominated the session. I couldn’t reach orgasm from it as the vibrations were too buzzy for my body, but it was fun to tease and play around with.

Overall, I think the Partner Plus was more of a miss than a hit for me. It has some great things going for it such as its firm external arm, body safe silky exterior, girth that provides a filling sensation when teamed with a penis, it’s waterproof surface and easy to use control panel. It’s also not very loud which makes it great for people who need discretion. Unfortunately though, the downsides are the major things that I don’t want/need or like in a toy such as the high-frequency vibration type and a flexible internal arm. If the Partner and Partner Plus were combined I think I’d have the perfect couples vibrator as I like certain aspects of both, but was let down by some of their other features. I just got my hands on the newest model, the Partner Whale, so I’m keeping my fingers crossed that it will be the one that ticks all of my boxes.

Review: Partner Couples Vibrator

The term “couples vibrator” is one that sparks a lot of debate on social media, forums and blogs but for the purpose of this review I will be using it. I’m not overly fond of this term myself, but it’s true that the Partner has been designed with two users in mind. Some people may say that it has been created for a straight partnership to use but anyone who has a vulva, clitoris and a partner who can penetrate them could make this toy work.

I haven’t tried many of these couple-style vibrators, but I was interested in this one because of its entry-level price tag. Not everybody can afford to fork out on a We-Vibe Sync or a Lelo Ida, so I hoped that at least one of the Partner models would be a good, affordable alternative. The Partner range is made by the same folks who own Satisfyer, so I wondered whether the brands success would carry over into this new category of sex toys. Read on to find out whether it was a winning decision or mission impossible…

The Partner arrived in a white and purple cardboard box that had product shots on the front and back. The images were tasteful and I feel that helps give this product a welcoming, non-intimidating vibe to those who may be new to sex toys or tools that can be used within their pairing. The box lists some of the key features on the sides, such as the number of functions, materials used and the fact that it’s waterproof. Inside the box I found the vibrator, charging cable and multi-lingual user manual. There’s no storage bag which is a small disappointment, but it was expected from me after trying the Satisfyer models.

Made from smooth, velvety soft silicone and complimented with abs plastic, there’s no need to worry about this toy being toxic or porous. Both materials used are odourless, latex/phthalate free, easily cleaned and completely body safe. I had expected the silicone of this vibrator to be quite draggy but I didn’t notice much of this during use. There’s some of course, as it is silicone, but nowhere near as much as I anticipated. The brand recommend using a coating of water-based lube on the internal arm, but I’d add a touch to the external area that rests on the clitoris too for maximum comfort. Following use, simply clean with soapy water and leave to dry for next time.

Charging is a breeze. It has a USB connector at one end to go into a suitable port and a magnetic connector at the other end which attaches to the two prongs on the front of the vibrator. The control panel will flash blue whilst charging and turn solid when complete. The manual advises that the first charge could take up to eight hours, but ours came with some juice so it only took about three and a half. Each additional charge has taken roughly two hours and has lasted for just over/under one hour each time. This isn’t bad, but only lasts us two uses per charge.

Partner Couples VibratorThere is one singular button on the Partner, which is located on the front of the external arm, and this controls everything. To turn it on, press and hold this button for a few seconds and the control panel will then light up and the vibrations will begin. Tap to cycle through the various functions and press and hold again to turn off. If you miss the setting that you wanted you have to scroll back through all ten to get back to it, which can be frustrating, but as this is an entry-level model that’s not very wide, I can see why no other buttons were added to make this possible.

One aspect of this vibrator that confused me was the order of the settings. The manual says pressing and holding the button down for two seconds will start it at the lowest massage level but in my case, it didn’t. I don’t know if I got an odd one or whether the manual had a typo? Either way, starting at the highest intensity seems to be becoming increasingly popular in recent toy designs and it makes no sense to me. Most people who use a vibrating toy like to start at the bottom and work up to solid strength, not start on full and work their way back down.

For me however, I generally send my toys up to full power straight away so this wasn’t a huge issue, but I can see why it would annoy others who prefer to do the opposite. I’m a power queen and love rumbly vibrations, but it’s hard to find couples toys that have both strength and depth to them. The lowest setting on the Partner did have a low-pitched rumble to it, which was gratifying, but the other two speeds and the seven patterns were more on the buzzy spectrum. They were the sort of buzzy sensations that are just surface level, rather than the kind that feels like a wasp nest attacking the clitoris, so I can cope with them and even enjoy them when in the right mindset.

Partner Couples VibratorFlexibility was something that stood out to me when holding the Partner for the first time. I noticed that the internal arm was very flexible to the point that I could manipulate it into a straight shape similar to Mystery Vibe’s Crescendo. It also had a fair amount of squish to the silicone, which gave me the impression that I wouldn’t be able to maintain contact with the g-spot or stimulate it.

The internal arm is very slimline. It’s just under two inches in girth at the widest point which makes it perfect for beginners, those who don’t like to be stretched and vulva owners that have well-endowed partners. We tried one couples vibrator previously that had around five inches in length and width and it made it very difficult to accommodate the toy and my partner at the same time. I had no such issues with this Partner model.

I was worried that it wouldn’t be long enough to hit my g-spot as it only has an insertable length of around 2.7 inches, but it seems to be just about right. It may not be the correct positioning for everyone, but I can make it worth with my anatomy. Whilst it does hit the g-spot, I didn’t feel very stimulated by it for two reasons. The first being the lack of vibrations and the second being the lack of firmness. The internal arm on the Partner does not have a motor, so you only receive external vibrations from this model. If you want sensations from both arms, the Partner Plus might be more your thing.

I need intense pressure against my spot for me to feel stimulated and come close to orgasm and I couldn’t achieve that with the internal arm alone as it’s just too flexible. It was different when my partner got involved and inserted himself as his penis sort of pushed the arm up onto my erogenous zone and forced it to main contact and added a little bit of pressure because of his shaft continuously hitting the arm with each thrust. It made the arm bump and grind against me, which did feel good. Unfortunately though, it wasn’t enough to push me over the edge and give me an internal orgasm.

Partner Couples Vibrator

The classic U shape of this vibrator worked well for me. I had no problems getting the external arm to sit over my clitoris accurately and the internal arm was just about long enough. If I placed this in position and began having sex with my partner it wouldn’t take long for the vibrations to start taking me in the direction of an orgasm and that’s something I can appreciate. It doesn’t steal or force orgasms from me like the Satisfyer Pro 2 does, but it can get me off.

Overall, I think this couples vibrator could be classed as a success. It worked well for my partner and I, didn’t cause any uncomfortable poking once inserted for either of us and the quiet, external vibrations aren’t half bad. It would be a fantastic entry-level choice for someone new to couples vibrators or someone who doesn’t want to fork out over £100 on the We-Vibes and Lelo’s of the world. I also think it will be a popular choice for those who don’t want to use some of the girthier, bulkier options on the market. If you prefer firm internal stimulation, girth or texture then this may not be right for you, but if you like the complete opposite, I’d recommend giving the Partner a chance.

I received the Partners Couples Vibrator from Partner in exchange for my review. Thank you! You can purchase the Partner (£44.99) from Bondara.
