Review: Furry Fantasy Bunny Tail Butt Plug

I recently found myself in somewhat of a frustrating situation at the hands of a company that shall not be named. They pulled out of doing a giveaway at the last-minute leaving me with no back up plan for the giveaway I had been wanting to do for months. Thankfully, a fellow sex blogger, RandomRedRose stepped in and posted a tweet asking if any companies would be willing to help out and as a result of that, Charlie (from charlielee.eu) got in touch and said he could sort something out. We decided on the Furry Fantasy Bunny Tail Butt Plug in Black and he kindly offered me one of my own to review. I have so much appreciation for Charlie for helping us out with this, so please go and show him some love by checking out his store and following him on social media to be the first to know about hot new offers.

Furry Fantasy Black Bunny Tail Butt PlugThe packaging for this product is very understated and simple. It comes in a velvet drawstring pouch with a simple tag attached. It doesn’t give much information other than the two materials used within this plug but I don’t think anything else was actually needed. Inside the drawstring pouch I found a small resealable plastic bag housing the plug which had been wrapped in tissue paper and a polystyrene like pouch for added protection. It may be basic in its presentation, but I maintained high hopes for its performance.

Furry Fantasy’s Bunny Tail Butt Plug is made from a shiny aluminium alloy. It feels smooth to the touch, is seamless and seemed to be finished well. It is free from latex and phthalates and feels high quality, especially considering the price tag. It hasn’t chipped or flaked at all which makes me confident in stating that this is non-toxic and body-safe. It can be used with any type of lubricant, which is great news for me as I like to use silicone based options with butt toys, although I didn’t want to risk staining the faux fur so I’ve stuck with water based so far. I have been using a 10% bleach solution to clean the plug and so far this has done me well. I’ve had no problems.

Size wise, I’d class this in the range between beginner and intermediate. I have a fair amount of anal experience, be that with my partner and with sex toys, so this was more than suitable for me. If you can take two fingers in your butt comfortably, then this plug should be fine for you. It is 4.72 inches in overall length, but only 2.95 inches are actually insertable. This is quite short for a plug and definitely more in the beginners realm of comfort. As for the girth, it measured in at 3.1 inches at the tip and 4.3 inches around the widest point of the bulb.

Furry Fantasy Black Bunny Tail Butt PlugThe Furry Fantasy Bunny Tail Butt Plug was designed in a classic shape. The traditional and very popular teardrop. This means that there’s a pointed/tapered tip with a rounded body and a slender neck. It has an all important circular base (with faux fur attached) that is wider than the neck to prevent unwanted travel.

You should never use anything anally that doesn’t have some form of sturdy flared base as it could end up getting lost and that would create an uncomfortable (and potentially painful) trip to hospital to get it located and removed.

As I mentioned above, the size was very manageable for me. I found that the plug was easy to insert with a small helping of lube and comfortable to wear once in place. It hasn’t slipped out at all, despite me being used to bigger products and I have no doubts about the base whatsoever. It feels secure and keeps the plug firmly in place until I’m done with it. This plug isn’t large at all so I can wear it for longer periods of time, but sitting down with it in is not much of an option. It isn’t very comfortable and I feel like the tail gets all squashed which ruins the aesthetic. To sum it up, I can clean the house with it in, but it’s not a plug I’d wear to lounge around and get aroused in.

When I was younger, probably mid-teens, I was surrounded by people who thought that anything anal was “disgusting” and “gross” so I adapted myself to that situation and thought those same things. As I’ve gotten older and developed my own opinions and begun trying things out for myself, I discovered that anal was something that I actually really enjoyed. I’ve been experimenting for a few years now but surprisingly butt plugs haven’t come onto my radar until much later. I only started using/trying/buying them around seven or eight months ago and I had always gone back and forth about whether I should get one before that.

I had previously restricted my searches to the most bland, basic, stripped-back designs that I could find and ignored the bright and beautiful, eccentric and fetish types. When I eventually started using butt plugs and realising how fantastic they could be, my mind suddenly started remembering all of these ‘unusual’ plugs that I’d pushed to the back of the shelf and I found myself honing on in animal tails. I was drawn to ponies, cats and fox tails as these seemed to appeal to my inner pet the most, but I wanted to start off with something small and cute like a bunny tail so I didn’t shock myself into never trying a tail again.

Furry Fantasy Black Bunny Tail Butt PlugWhen I had inserted the Furry Fantasy Bunny Tail Butt Plug for the first time, I turned around to check out the tail in the mirror and immediately fell in love with the aesthetic. I thought it looked adorable and my partner agreed. He said that I have a small butt (in terms of cheek size) so the pert fluff of this tail looked well suited between my cheeks. We both agreed that it could be potentially buried between larger cheeks, so a fuller, fluffier tail may be better suited to those who have a butt that Nicki Minaj would envy.

I felt in my element when wearing this plug and I really hadn’t expected to feel that way. Something seemed to click in me that said I’d found something worthwhile, something that worked for me and knowing that I hadn’t even considered it until recently surprised me. I feel that since I’ve started sex blogging I have discovered a lot about myself and I think this particular product has allowed me to explore a fantasy that I never knew (or pretended I didn’t know) I had. I almost wished I had some matching ears and fluffy mittens to complete the look and get fully in the zone, but who knows? Maybe I’ll step up my game again in the coming months and indulge in some animal accessories.

Butt plugs can make the vaginal canal feel tighter during PIV which can be fun for both parties. My partner could notice a subtle difference although he said it wasn’t as obvious as it’s been with other plugs that I have used. I’m quite tight down there anyway as I’ve never had children and I do my kegels often, so I care more about the noticeable amount of pressure placed up against the back wall of my vagina than the sensation of tightness. It increases my chances of orgasm and helps me get off much faster during an act that doesn’t do a whole lot for me on its own. If I combine a clitoral vibrator with the feel of the cool plug and that pressure, I can be in heaven within around ten minutes.

You can purchase the Furry Fantasy Bunny Tail Black Butt Plug (€27.90/£25.67) from Charlie’s online store. I received this product free of charge in exchange for my honest review. Thank you!

Review: Fifty Shades Darker Just Sensation Beaded Clitoral Clamp

Like it or loathe it, the Fifty Shades series are not going away. It might not be the best existing portrayal of a bdsm relationship, but it has opened up people’s minds and started to break down the taboo barrier that bondage and sex toys have, which is great. Regardless of the thoughts I have surrounding the books and films, I do have great appreciation for the adult product ranges designed by Lovehoney, the latest of which is the Fifty Shades Darker Collection. I was stoked to trial the new Just Sensation Beaded Clitoral Clamp to see if the quality from the first line had been continued.

Fifty Shades Darker Just Sensation Beaded Clitoral ClampAfter removing the clamp from the discreet, boring envelope it arrived in, I immediately noticed the wonderful packaging. It is definitely the most luxurious of all the Fifty Shades ranges so far and I was very impressed. The petite, thin box is a mixture of navy and black and features an image of the clamp on the front. The box also features a few logos throughout as-well as a quote from the book on the back along with the instructions for use. Inside, the clamp is safely secured to a piece of cardboard alongside a multi-lingual instruction guide and a branded storage pouch.

Once I opened up the box, I noted that the clamp matches perfectly with the At My Mercy Chained Nipple Clamps from the same range and also The Pinch Nipple Clamps from the original collection. It’s made from body-safe, nickel-free metal and has the same beading detail as both pairs of clamps, although it only has the small, circular Fifty Shades tag on one side instead of both. It looks very aesthetically pleasing, particularly when you’re wearing it with the matching nipple accessories. It feels high-quality and the beads are attached well, so I’m not worried about them snapping off even if they are being tugged on with a fair amount of force.

Fifty Shades Darker Just Sensation Beaded Clitoral ClampPrior to receiving this clitoral clamp, I had only used a couple of others and they had been the sort that were adjustable via a little slider, so it felt like I was taking a step in the right direction when this arrived. I did wonder how exactly I’d be able to get it on, but after some research via the net, I found it much easier than I had anticipated. It was fiddly on the first couple of attempts and a hand mirror was needed to find the correct placement, but now I can get it into place with ease.

I simply apply a small amount of water-based lubricant to the clip and a little to myself, then spread the two ends apart whilst placing the hooped end over my clitoris. It ends up pinching around the clitoris whilst the sides of the clip rest against my inner labia and the beads add a bit of weight to further intensify the pinch. It’s not painful, but it’s certainly intense enough that it cannot be forgotten about. I really like the sensation and I think it makes me feel a lot more sensitive during masturbation and oral sex. If I combine a powerful clitoral vibrator with this clamp, I am guaranteed a fast and extremely relieving orgasm.

It’s easy to remove by simply opening up the ends again, relieving the pressure and sliding it back up and over the clitoris. I’ve found the sensitivity continues for a few minutes even after the clamp is removed, but the intensity depends on how long it has been worn for. I am comfortable wearing this for around twenty minutes at a time and if I ever felt like I wanted to wear it for longer, I would allow a ten minute break after half an hour to allow the circulation to regulate again. As of right now, twenty minutes is more than enough for me to get done what I need to do and move on to another activity. After it has been removed, it can be rinsed and spritzed with toy cleaner, then placed safely in the storage bag ready for its next use.

Fifty Shades Darker Just Sensation Beaded Clitoral Clamp

Overall, I think this is a fantastic clamp for all users, regardless of experience level, although I would advise beginners to air on the side of caution as it is not adjustable. This was my first clitoral clamp of this type and it definitely won’t be my last. I really enjoyed wearing it and seeing how well it heightened my sensitivity. It makes a session more interesting, whether I’m alone or with my partner. It also makes stimulation from a vibrator feel more intense, which usually results in a better orgasm.

Review: Fifty Shades Darker At My Mercy Chained Nipple Clamps

Like it or loathe it, the Fifty Shades series are not going away. It might not be the best existing portrayal of a bdsm relationship, but it has opened up people’s minds and started to break down the taboo barrier that bondage and sex toys have, which is great. Regardless of the thoughts I have surrounding the books and films, I do have great appreciation for the adult product ranges designed by Lovehoney, the latest of which is the Fifty Shades Darker Collection. I was stoked to trial the new At My Mercy Chained Nipple Clamps to see if the quality from the first line had been continued.

Fifty Shades Darker At My Mercy Chained Nipple Clamps

After removing the clamps from the plain boring envelope they arrived in, I immediately noticed the amazing packaging. It’s definitely the most luxurious of all the Fifty Shades ranges so far and I was highly impressed. The petite, thin box is a mixture of navy and black and features an image of the clamps on the front. There are a few logos throughout the packaging and even a quote from the book on the back along with some instructions for use. Inside, I found the nipple clamps secured safely onto a piece of cardboard with a multi-lingual instruction guide and a navy storage pouch.

Once I’d got them out of the box I noticed that they are basically a chained version of The Pinch Nipple Clamps from the original range. They have the same beading detail, but only one of the clamps in this pair features the small, circular Fifty Shades tag. These adjustable clamps are made from body-safe, nickel-free metal with smooth silicone tips. I like the appearance of them and I think the small detailing that has been added makes these clamps more decorative and aesthetically pleasing than basic clamps. I wanted to explore the quality before placing them onto my body, so I experimented by tugging on the chain forcefully and I came to the conclusion that no matter how hard I pulled, the chain wouldn’t split or come loose.

Fifty Shades Darker At My Mercy Chained Nipple Clamps

After using the Nothing But Sensations Suckers to warm up, I opened up the clamps and placed the silicone tips around my nipples before moving to the adjuster to tighten them to my desired intensity. I encountered a slight hitch during this process as I noticed that the adjuster was quite stiff from this angle. I have found that when the clamp is facing away from me, the adjuster becomes very stubborn and doesn’t slide up easily, whereas when I’m facing it, it goes where I want it to within seconds.

At first, I thought that I may just need more practise with them, but after multiple attempts this still seems to be the case, so I’m putting it down to them being new and hoping the stiffness will wear off with more use. I have managed to do them up a couple of times on my own, but it has taken a long time, which has been a bit of a mood killer. I find these much easier when my partner places them on instead, but the downside is that I can’t surprise him by wearing them like I can with other pairs that we own.

Fifty Shades Darker At My Mercy Chained Nipple Clamps

Once they are on, I have no complaints. I was expecting them to be slightly heavier, due to the beads, but they’re actually quite lightweight. I think because of this, they would make excellent clamps for people who are looking to progress to a chained style for the first time. They can be adjusted from the softest pinch to a tight, painful pull and I like them somewhere between the two, although having the option to soften or increase the intensity as and when I want to is great.

I wear them slightly lower on the nipple if I’m wearing these for my partner to pull on as I find this really intensifies the pull the clamps have, creating a sharper pinching sensation.

Overall, I think the At My Mercy Clamps are perfect for many users, regardless of experience level, as they can be adjusted accordingly. If you’re into hardcore nipple play, then these might not be advanced enough for you, but I think they should be suitable for most other people. This was my first pair of chained nipple clamps and I have not been left disappointed. I’m definitely going to get my hands on some more as I really enjoyed wearing these.

Review: Dominix Deluxe Cat Claw Skin Scratcher

Dominix Cat Claw Skin ScratcherMy partner and I are becoming huge fans of sensation play, whether it’s through temperature, ticklers or spiky things, so when I saw this Cat Claw Scratcher by Dominix, I knew I had to get one. It arrived quickly and discreetly along with the rest of my Lovehoney order, in typical Dominix style of a plain, sealed packet with a branded sticker on the front.

I was impressed from the minute I removed it from its packet because the build-quality appeared to be excellent. The Scratcher is made from nickel-free metal, which makes it skin-safe and un-irritating to those of us who are more sensitive. It feels very sturdy and I can see it lasting well for a long time with some gentle care and proper storage. I would hesitate to replace it though should it ever break or go missing. It has this lovely matte black finish that furthers the intimidating look of the product, but it also makes it look classy, rather than cheap and tacky.

I noticed that the two spikes were sharp, but not extremely so. I have felt pinwheels with sharper spikes and my experience with those is new and somewhat limited. I think that this Scratcher should be suitable for people who are new to these types of bondage tools, but I would only advise to do so with a trusted partner who is cautious of the amount of pressure they are using. This Cat Claw can be gentle or intense depending on your level of experience, the amount of pressure and your personal preferences.

I love having this Cat Claw used on me as I find it really stimulating. It makes me feel extra sensitive and builds the anticipation for the rest of the session. It feels particularly wonderful whilst blindfolded and used in combination with a feather tickler, as the not knowing whether it’s next going to be a scratch or a tickle is exciting. I really enjoy the sensations from this scratcher and I think it’s the perfect combination of pleasure and stinging pain. It can be painful if used with enough pressure, but not painful enough that it draws blood or leaves permanent marks, however it is capable of leaving temporary red areas if pressed down firmly enough.

Dominix Cat Claw Skin ScratcherOverall, I’m thrilled with this addition to our toybox and I can see it getting a lot of use. The only issue that I encountered with this was the fact that it was quite large on me, which meant I wasn’t able to use it on my partner without clenching my fingers together to keep it in position. It doesn’t actually slide off because the midi ring stops it from doing so, but I am cautious that it will slide and end up spiking him somewhere I hadn’t intended.

Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Review: Crowned Jewels Aluminium Shaftsbury (C Curve)

Crowned Jewels Marylebone1I purchased the Crowned Jewels Shaftsbury as a birthday present to myself after deciding it was finally time to try out metal. I have fallen in love with the material because of this experience and have gone on to add three more metal toys to my collection since then. I’m a huge fan of glass toys, so this wasn’t much of a step-up and it’s one I’d definitely recommend everybody try at least once, because despite the extra cost, it’s so worth it.

The Shaftsbury arrived in a wax-sealed tube, which is some of the classiest and more luxurious packaging that I’ve ever experienced. Inside the tube, the dildo is wrapped inside some black tissue paper alongside a branded storage pouch  and a small leaflet.

When I held the Shaftsbury for the first time I checked for any signs of imperfections within the material and I’m pleased to say that I couldn’t find any. This toy has been made excellently and finished to an extremely high standard. I cannot fault Crowned Jewels in terms of quality control at all, I actually feel this is an area in which they excel. All of their products are made by hand and crafted to order, with each being thoughtfully designed and created.

Crowned Jewels strive to make exciting, luxurious and beautiful adult toys that are crafted from completely body-safe and high-grade materials. They partake in regular quality testing to maintain the standards they’re putting out there and also make sure they’re in compliance with all British and EU rules regarding safe metal sex toys. The Shaftsbury is made from medical grade, pure aluminium and does not include nickel, latex or phthalates.

As the Shaftsbury is made with aluminium, any type of lubricant can be used with it, be that water-based, hybrid or silicone. I generally choose to use water-based when I’m using this in the bedroom to avoid any sheet staining, but I will switch to silicone lubricant if I’m using this toy in the bath. I haven’t and probably never will use this in the shower as I imagine dropping it on your foot would hurt more than stepping on a piece of Lego. I have often found that I don’t need to use any additional lubricant with toys made from metal as the material glides pretty easily with natural lubrication. After each use, I spritz with toy cleaner and rinse thoroughly although it’s impossible to remove all of those pesky fingerprints that this material picks up.

Crowned Jewels Shaftsbury

The Shaftsbury has an overall length of seven inches and an insertable length of six, which is ideal for me personally and should be enjoyable for most. It has a maximum girth of 3.75 inches which is fairly slimline and a size I’d consider to be suitable to beginners, particularly those who are new to rigid materials such as this one.

It was lighter than I had expected it to be, which makes it comfortable for long-term use and I would definitely advise you to consider this brand over njoy if weight is something you struggle with for whatever reason. I personally have weak wrists, so I find this toy much easier to use than my beloved pure wand.

I do think it’s slightly heavier than glass, so if weight is something you’re interested in, alongside firmness and rigidity, then metal is a material you’ll probably enjoy.  You might be enthused to know that you can experiment with temperature play, which just so happens to be one of my favourite things to do in the bedroom, and this material holds temperature much better than glass does. It can be warmed up or chilled, although warming is something I don’t really explore much as I prefer my dildos cold. It can be placed in a bowl of warm or cold water for twenty minutes to create your desired temperature or it can be placed in the fridge for an extra chill.

In my experience with the Shaftsbury, I have found that the smooth end is absolutely perfect for vaginal and in particular, g-spot stimulation. I have the C curve edition and I find it’s angled perfectly, managing to find my g-spot very quickly. If I begin thrusting quickly, then the deal is sealed within minutes. It’s almost effortless to have an orgasm with this toy and I can even reach multiple climaxes from this end, which is more than can be said for the pure wand, as I have to be done after one orgasm due to the weight of it.

The other end features four raised bulbs and this has proved to be the best for anal stimulation. I’m not fond of girth anally, so the slim size of this dildo is absolutely perfect for me and the texture does all the work once it’s inserted, so again, it’s almost effortless. I can feel every one of those raised bumps as this toy is gently rocked back and forth at the hands of myself or my partner and this eventually leads to some repetitive thrusting and a powerful orgasm.

Crowned Jewels Marylebone 4

Overall, I am very glad I decided to try out metal and even more glad that I chose the Shaftsbury to kick-start my experiences with this material. I am very pleased with the aesthetics, size and quality of the Shaftsbury and I would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone. I really enjoy the sensations it offers, both vaginally and anally, and this dildo is one that I’ll be keeping close to the bed for many months to come. If you’ve been curious about metal for a while but don’t want to spend £100 on a pure wand, why not try this toy instead? It’s just as good!
