Review: Satisfyer Pro Deluxe Next Generation

From the very first moment of my encounter with my first suction stimulator I knew I was onto something new and exciting. It’s something I’d never experienced before but I fell in love with it instantly. I think I even love it as much as my favourite bullet vibrator now. I have a multitude of these toys at this point so there are naturally some that I like more than others. Out of the five original Satisfyers there was one that I didn’t particularly like and one that I felt indifferent about. The Pro Deluxe was the latter. When Satisfyer announced that they’d be releasing next generation editions of each model I asked them if they’d be willing to send me the updated version to review. I wanted to see if there were any changes that would redeem the Deluxe and make me fall in love with it. After a thorough testing I still can’t say that this model is a favourite of mine although I do think I got on with it better this time around and I can see it working for some people.

Satisfyer Pro Deluxe Next GenerationThe packaging for the Deluxe was as expected, minimalistic and classic. It hasn’t changed from the original models at all. It still shows a product shot on the front and back along with a few key features printed on the sides. Inside the box, the toy rested inside some plastic casing alongside the charging cable and glossy user manual. It does not come with any storage which is a minor downside. I’m holding out hope that they’ll include a small pouch with future products.

It’s made up of a smooth plastic surface and a high-grade silicone head. Both of these materials are free from phthalates and latex and are completely body-safe. You have no need to worry about bad odours or bacteria trapping itself in the pores. It can be used with any water-based lubricants and I recommend applying some to the rim of the nozzle and some to the clitoral area. Don’t use too much or it will be hard to keep in position but some will make use more comfortable. It’s fully waterproof so cleaning is no chore. It can be rinsed with warm soapy water after each use and simply left to dry. You can also remove the nozzle for a more thorough clean and the heads can be sanitized properly with a 10% bleach solution.

Satisfyer Pro Deluxe Next GenerationThe Pro Deluxe Next Generation is rechargeable via a USB and magnetic clip system. Just attach the clips to the magnetic prongs on the base of the device and wait for the flashing light to start. It goes steady when the charge is finished. It takes around ninety minutes or so for a full charge and offers the same amount of use time on the lower intensities. I can get several uses from each charge and it holds battery life well between those uses.

A key difference between the Pro Deluxe and the Pro Deluxe Next Generation is the control panel. It now has two clear buttons that function as I wanted them to on the original model. You press the four wave button down for a couple of seconds to turn on. This should start on the lowest intensity. You can then tap this button up to eleven times to scroll through the rest of the options or press and hold it down for a few seconds to turn off. The two wave button will take you back down through the intensities allowing you to go back a setting if you accidentally turn it up too high. I’m really glad they implemented this control panel this time around as it’s much easier to use and removes some of my previous irritations with the product.

Satisfyer Pro Deluxe Next GenerationSo, who is best suited to a product like the Pro Deluxe? Someone who likes direct clitoral contact. If you know that precise pressure in this area is overwhelming, numbing or uncomfortable for you then this style of toy won’t be suited to you. It will not work for everyone. I personally prefer pinpoint and direct stimulation so these models work well for my preferences and needs. The Pro Deluxe works by parting the labia to reveal the clitoris and placing it over the area at whatever angle feels best.

What were my previous issues with the Pro Deluxe? I had three main problems with it. The first was the control panel which has since been addressed. The second issue was more of a personal preference rather than a fault of the product itself. The shape. I just prefer long-handled suction vibrators as they seem to be easier to hold and I can vary the way that I position the toy to keep things interesting or vary the amount of pressure I’m using. For those reasons, the Satisfyer 2 and Pro 2 are more comfortable for me to use and give me the variation I’m looking for. If mobility or reach issues are something that you struggle with, the longer handled models will probably be better for you too.

Satisfyer Pro Deluxe Next GenerationThe third issue was the biggest hinderance. If you look back at the previous models (minus the Penguin) then you’ll notice that they each have heads that are made from a thick oval of silicone. The Pro Deluxe has a dramatically thinner nozzle which doesn’t provide the same amount of comfort and suction as the others do. It feels less intense to me and it’s somewhat of a battle to find a placement over my clitoris that allows me to feel enough of the sensations.

I could put this down to my anatomy as I have a small clitoris and innie labia which doesn’t seem to fit with the design of this flatter nozzle. If you have fleshier labia than I do and/or a large clitoris then this may be more inclined to work for you. I looked at this as a downside last time but having tested this again I have half changed my mind on this. I think it’s wonderful to see different vulva types being accommodated for and hopefully this means that there will now be a suitable Satisfyer model for everyone who likes direct suction stimulation.

Satisfyer Pro Deluxe Next Generation

So whilst this might not be the perfect model for me, I can’t fault the level of intensities that it has. It doesn’t force orgasms from my body like some of the others do but this is due to the nozzle shape not being right for my anatomy rather than a fault of the product. I can orgasm with this although it takes several minutes more than my beloved Pro 2 Next Generation or Pro Penguin Next Generation. I admittedly won’t use this as often as other models as I like quick, reliable orgasms from my toys but it could be fun to use during sex.

As I said in my review of the original Pro Deluxe, none of the Satisfyer models are completely quiet. The mechanisms involved simply won’t allow total silence. Having said that, this version makes slightly less noise than the original when used on high. If discretion is a must have for you, then you could easily drown out the sound of the motor by covering up with a duvet or playing some sort of background noise.

You can purchase the Satisfyer Pro Deluxe Next Generation (£38.40) from Amazon. I will update with more links when retailers update their stock to include this new model.

Review: Satisfyer Pro Penguin Next Generation

It’s no secret that I’m extremely fond of clitoral suction vibrators, so when I spotted pictures of the soon-to-be released Satisfyer Pro Penguin Next Generation back in June, I posted on Instagram about how adorable it was. A couple of months later and one was on the way for me to review – courtesy of the lovely folks over at Peepshow Toys. When I got it in my hands it was everything I’d imagined it to be and more. I’m simply obsessed with its adorable on-point aesthetic and the addition of the hot pink bow-tie around the Penguins neck. It is everything the original should have been. It now has a colour scheme that accurately resembles the animal it’s named after and bares strong resemble to Pingu, a tv character that I adored throughout my childhood.

The packaging for this product was as expected, simplistic and classic. This hasn’t changed from the original models apart from the small mention of the awards the Next Generation Penguin won for its design. It still shows a product shot on the front and back along with a few key features printed on the sides. Inside the box, the vibrator rests within some plastic casing alongside the charging cable and user manual. It still does not come with any storage. I’m holding out hope for future generations to include a small satin pouch.

Satisfyer’s Pro Penguin is one of three rechargeable models and charges via a USB and magnetic clip system. Attach the clips to the magnets on the base and plug the USB into an available port. I noticed that this cable disconnected the charge easily unless it was placed on a completely flat surface. This was odd as all of the other cables for my rechargeable models seemed to be more sturdy than this one. The manual suggests that it could take up to eight hours for a first charge but it definitely didn’t take that long. It was ready to go in just under three hours and charges in just one and a half now. The lights on the control panel flash whilst charging and go steady once complete. You can get around ninety minutes of use per charge depending on the intensity used.

It is made from high-grade, silky smooth silicone and hard plastic. Both of these materials are completely body-safe, latex and phthalate free, hypoallergenic and odourless. Satisfyer recommend applying a coating of water-based lubricant around the rim of the nozzle for comfort during use. I would agree with this as comfort is a key factor when masturbating and the more relaxed I am, the better my experience tends to be. After use, rinse the fully waterproof device with warm soapy water then leave to air dry. You can remove the nozzle for deeper cleaning if you wish too. I’d recommend this as there are currently no replacement heads available for the Penguin.

Outside of the obvious appearance change, there’s another distinctive difference between the Penguin and the next Generation Penguin. The control panel. It still has two buttons but this time around they do different things. Press the four wave (bottom) button down for a couple of seconds to turn on. It will start on the lowest intensity. You can then tap this button up to eleven times to scroll through the rest of the intensity options or press and hold to turn off again. The two wave (top) button will take you back down through the intensities. I know a few people who mentioned that they’d like the option to go back a setting so I’m really pleased that Satisfyer took this on board and removed my previous frustrations.

Satisfyer Pro Penguin Next GenerationIn my opinion, people who like direct clitoral contact are best suited to a product like this. It’s not the type of toy that can work for everyone. For example, people who find constant pressure/attention towards their clitoris overwhelming, numbing or uncomfortable would not be well-suited to the Satisfyer.

This also wouldn’t be the best option for someone who likes to be very active and involved in a masturbation session as once the Penguin is in place comfortably it doesn’t need to be moved again until you’ve finished. I have tried moving it but finds this just reduces the sensation and breaks the suction which makes orgasms next to impossible.

To find your comfortable placement, lay back and part your labia slightly to reveal the clitoris. Place the nozzle over the area at whatever angle feels best then let the toy do the rest. It’s absolutely wonderful for lazy masturbators, people in a rush or those who just want something quick and reliable. I personally love it although this wasn’t surprising. Clitoral suction vibrators have proved over and over again to be successful for me and this one wasn’t going to be excluded. I can be presented with an orgasm from setting seven and above or even five and six on days where I’m more sensitive. The lower settings are ideal for teasing, warming-up or cooling down before round two.

If you’re a person who prefers broad stimulation to the angled tip of a bullet vibrator then you might find the Penguin too precise and intense for you, even on the lower settings. I’d also advise caution for clit-owners who are particularly sensitive. It may be better to start out with one of the slightly less intense battery operated versions of the Satisfyer and see whether the stimulation works for you before investing in one of the stronger, pricier models. I think the Next Generation Penguin is actually now the most intense model because of its different nozzle shape. The smaller, boxier nozzle seems to refine the sensations more than the regular oval-shaped heads.

Satisfyer Pro Penguin Next GenerationNoise is one of the first things people ask me regarding these toys so I’ll stick with the phrase I’ve used in every response. None of these suction stimulators can be completely quiet due to the mechanisms involved. Having said that, I do think this version is quieter than some of the other models. You will still want to play some background music if discretion is a necessity to you for whatever reason but it’s not the loudest suction device I’ve tried.

Overall, I usually prefer longer handled vibrators for this type of stimulation but in this case I can look past the shorter body and petite dimensions. It’s so comfortable to hold which I think makes all the difference. I will say that this may make use more difficult for people who have mobility/reach issues and in those situations I’d recommend the new Satisfyer Pro 2 instead. Complaints wise, I don’t have any to make on this occasion. I feel that all of my previous constructive criticisms have been addressed with this upgrade (minus the lack of storage bag). It now has better on-brand aesthetics, a convenient and easier to use control panel and a quieter motor. I’m looking forward to seeing what is next for this brand and whether they will continue to improve their products to leave their customers fully satisfied.

Review: Satisfyer Pro 2 Next Generation

It’s no secret that I loved the original Satisfyer Pro 2. I raved about it on my blog, Twitter and the Lovehoney forum for months after I received it. It is still one of my all-time favourite toys and part of my regular rotation, but I think it might finally be time to demote it. Satisfyer contacted me recently and asked if I’d be interested in reviewing the Pro 2 Next Generation and obviously I could not refuse this offer. I was really pleased to see that this brand had taken reviewers feedback on board and gone back and improved their devices in order to create the best products possible. I have tons of respect for that, as that’s exactly what we as reviewers want to achieve in this industry. We want to encourage companies to do their best, so we can offer our readers the best in return. So, did Satisfyer ruin a good thing by upgrading the Pro 2 or did they manage to make a good toy even better? Keep reading to find out!

The packaging is pretty standard for the Satisfyer range, just a white cardboard box with a glossy product shot on the front and back and basic product information on the sides. Inside this, there’s some plastic casing that stores the device and charging cable. A user manual is tucked away underneath. As I’ve mentioned in my previous Satisfyer (and Partner) reviews, this company does not include storage bags so be sure to get something suitable on hand if purchasing one of their products.

Upon setting sights on the Pro 2 Next Generation for the first time, I noticed a couple of obvious aesthetic changes. The first, and most noticeable difference, was the colour. My original Pro 2 is a bright rose gold shade whereas this new version is more of a light bronze. The second thing I noted was the change in texture. The original has a glossy finish which makes it difficult to hold at times, especially if lubricant is in the picture, but the new version has a matte texture that removes this potential problem. The third change I picked up on was a subtle thing that’s been added; the Satisfyer logo embossed onto the front of the shaft. I like this as it looks like more of a finished product now.

It is still made from a combination of abs plastic and high-grade silicone. The body is all plastic but the head and buttons are premium silicone. The head feels a little softer and smoother than the previous models did, but I would still recommend using lubricant for comfort. As the head is made from silicone, the type of lubricant needed is water based as other types may cause damage to the material. It has the same visible seams as the original, which isn’t majorly attractive but once the toy is in use I honestly couldn’t care less what it looks like. It’s also still completely waterproof, making it a breeze to clean. I remove the head and clean with a 10% bleach solution but the rest of the toy is just rinsed with warm soapy water. It’s then left to dry naturally for as long as needed.

Magnetic charging systems usually frustrate me to no end, but Satisfyer have nailed a sturdy, secure system that doesn’t disconnect easily. I swear We-Vibe’s disconnect just by looking at them, so maybe they need to switch to these cables instead. The manual states that the initial charge could take up to eight hours but I found mine ready to go after half that time. It now takes only 150 minutes, which is not bad at all, and this gives ninety minutes of use. An improvement on the original which offers only a third of that.

There are now three buttons on the control panel. Hallelujah! I am beyond happy about this as the two button interface was one of my only criticisms regarding the original. Use is so much easier now and I love the fact I can go back an intensity if I should need to without having to cycle through all the settings again. There’s a round button which is the power hub, press once to turn on and hold for a few seconds to turn off. The longer oval button is the intensity changer and you just press the + and – buttons in accordance with your preferences.

As I’ve had some experience with these pressure wave stimulators now, I know exactly where I need to place the head in order to get the most accurate, direct and comfortable sensations. So, that’s what I did. I lay back, lubed up and turned the toy on. I felt an immediate difference between the low settings on this model and the low settings on the original. Both are very subtle, tickle-like sensations but the new version feels more refined and precise. I don’t know whether this is due to the new nozzle shape, which is longer and wider than the original or whether the motor has been tweaked slightly, but it feels noticeably better to me.

It feels more refined throughout the entire range of intensities actually and I’d say these sensations offer more depth to them than I could have received with the original. They penetrate below the surface with all their might and reach a whole bunch of sensitive nerve endings that can’t be hit with any other sort of sex toy. I haven’t used my original model much since this one arrived as I feel this one is more polished and finished, giving better results. I still love the Pro 2, but the Next Generation model feels a bit stronger and as a suction slut/power queen, that’s exactly what I’m looking for.

This type of stimulation can take some getting used to, so I’d recommend trying one of the entry models first to see whether it works for you or not, but this is the one to go for if you want the best of the current Satisfyer models and know pinpoint stimulation is right for you. It offers very direct clitoral contact and as it is designed to stay in place from start to finish, this is not a toy that will work for those who need broad stimulation or are very sensitive clitorally. I love precise contact, so this is a joy for me to use, especially on intensities seven and above. I can orgasm in less than three minutes 99% of the times I use this. I love a toy that is reliable and consistent, so I’m struggling to fault this at the moment.

Outside of the suction/vibration thing the Pro 2 Next Generation has going on, it also offers a cooling breeze to the clitoris. Have you ever tried an orgasm gel or balm that’s designed to increase sensitivity and heighten sensations? Well, it feels like that and makes my clitoris tingle a little. This is part of the reason I believe my orgasms are achieved easily with this toy as I become so heightened by the combination of everything that’s going on that my body just can’t hold the pleasure waves in any longer.

Satisfyer Pro 2 Next Generation

So, how do I rate this in comparison to the original? I would personally say that it is better and the improvements were all welcomed. It looks better aesthetically, is easier to hold/use due to the matte texture and new control panel and the new nozzle makes the stimulation feel more refined. It’s marketed as being quieter too and I’d have to agree with Satisfyer on that. It is quieter. It’s never going to be a silent toy as the mechanisms that go into the motor make some noise when in action, but some of the noise levels decrease upon skin to nozzle contact and a closed-door drowns out the rest. The only thing that I’d love to see from them now is the inclusion of a storage pouch with each device. I’m not sure they could do anything else to make me fall deeper in love with the Pro 2.

Review: Womanizer 2 Go

Will I ever get bored of suction toys? No, probably not. That’s why my ears pricked up so quickly when I heard that Womanizer would be releasing a new version of their popular pressure wave device. This one is called the 2 Go and is the fifth model to join Womanizer’s repertoire. You might be wondering what else I could possibly say about this brands products at this point, but I’ve concluded that all of the models are so darn different which leaves me with tons of differences to comment on. The technology in each of the models may be the same, but ultimately the sensations and the way my body reacts are not.

It was presented in a clean white and gold box with the Womanizer branding on the front. It’s classic and understated, but I think that it’s nice enough to give as a gift as is. Inside the box I found the 2 Go alongside the charging cable and user manual. I had expected to find a larger head inside the box as these as usually included, but I couldn’t find one at first. It had been pushed up into the back of the tray that the toy was resting on so I had almost missed it. There’s no storage bag or case included, but as this device comes with a cap to cover the nozzle, I don’t think it was necessary.

The model that I received arrived with some charge but as I wasn’t sure how much I decided to give it a freshen up before taking it on a test run. To do so, you have to open up the covering over the port on the base and plug in the jack. Then place the USB into a suitable port and wait for a flashing green light to appear on the Womanizer. It takes approximately two hours for a full charge and you’ll know that it’s finished when the light turns steady. This provides up to 240 minutes of use, although of course this depends on the settings used. If the device begins to flash red at any point this indicates that the battery is running low and needs to be placed on charge. I love this as I’ll never be caught out thirty seconds away from a climax.

Womanizer 2 Go

Womanizer 2 Go

Womanizer 2 Go

Womanizer 2 Go

The Womanizer 2 Go is made up of a glossy plastic body and a pink silicone head. Both of these materials are latex and phthalate free, non-toxic, odourless and completely body safe. It’s waterproof, which is something many of us have always asked of Womanizer and they’re starting to deliver that with their newer models. The manual advises to clean the device by removing the head and rinsing out the pressure chamber. It says that the device should then be switched on and ran at high intensity for one minute. Shake out all of the water in a sweeping motion until the gurgling noise dissipates, turn off the leave to leave to dry. As for the heads, you can use good old soap and water or bleach/boil them for extra peace of mind. I’d recommend the second method if two clit owners will be using the 2 Go.

Before I go any further into this review I think I need to address the elephants in the room. The appearance and the size. The presentation of the 2 Go is completely different to the other designs that Womanizer have made. It doesn’t resemble an ear thermometer at all and I think the colour options are lovely. I chose the white and gold version as I felt that was the most luxurious and attractive, but it also comes in black and gold and green and pink. There are no leopard print patterns or gemstone buttons in sight, so I’m rather satisfied with the way that it looks. I hope future designs will follow in this direction rather than going back to the crocodile prints of the original W100.

Womanizer 2 Go

I am not the first person to comment on the dimensions of the Womanizer 2 Go and I definitely will not be the last. I had heard jokes about the size before I received my own device and I thought that people were exaggerating, but it turns out that the one-liners are all true. It is comedically large for a lipstick shaped sex toy. I have previously tried Lovehoney’s Oh! Lipstick Vibrator so I decided to compare it the 2 Go and was shocked to discover it was at least twice the size of it.

I can see why it might need to be larger than the average lipstick vibrator to hold the required technology inside, but I do feel that this sort of defeats the purpose of a disguised design. It doesn’t look discreet enough to be passed as a lipstick in my opinion and I don’t know anyone who’d believe this was a cosmetic. I feel that my friends would quickly guess that this was a sex toy trying to pass off as a lipstick, and they’re not totally clued up in the world of toys. I would say that it looks more like a classy fragrance bottle when the cap is on.

Womanizer 2 GoThe 2 Go is not much smaller (height wise) than the W500 which again, makes the discreet design a bit redundant in my opinion. Having said that, I don’t leave sex toys lying around outside of my bedroom so discretion isn’t too much of an issue for me.  I don’t really leave my house to travel, although I’ll admit that I probably wouldn’t take this on the go if I did. This is due to the cost, rather than the dimensions or shape. I wouldn’t want to risk losing it, so I’d take the more replaceable options like the Pro 40, Satisfyer 2 or the Satisfyer Deluxe. I wouldn’t be too bothered if I lost the latter two.

As for the controls, there’s only one. A singular button located on the base. One press will turn the toy on, each further tap will cycle through the six available modes and after this it returns to the lowest intensity. I do have a preference for multiple buttons on my sex toys, as I like to have an on/off switch and an up and down arrow to change through the intensities as I desire with the option to go back a setting if needed. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a lipstick shaped sex toy with more than one button (hell, finding them with more than one speed is difficult) so I will give Womanizer a pass on this occasion. I would love the multiple buttons back on future devices though.

Womanizer 2 Go

Down to the nitty-gritty now, let’s discuss the sensations. I found it difficult to even get to the point of feeling them at first as it was hard to locate a way of holding the device that was both comfortable and effective. The original nozzle is slightly different to the oval shape of the nozzles on the other versions of the Womanizer, which took some getting used to. I had to adjust a few times to get it to sit over my clitoris properly. This was made more difficult by the glossy finish that the toy has as it kept slipping out of my hands.

Eventually, I learned that holding it upside down so that the button pointed upwards towards my belly button was the best position for me. When I turned it on for the first time I was taken back. I was expecting the subtle, gentle intensity that the other four models offer, but this version doesn’t really have them. It starts off at a more medium level than the others, which makes me think that it’s probably not the best choice for those who have never tried a toy like this before. I would prefer to recommend the more varied Pro 40 as a first time Womanizer.

Womanizer 2 Go

The sensations are similar to that of past models once I’ve found the correct positioning but I did note that it definitely felt more intense. I have needed to switch to the larger head with past versions in order to get more than one orgasm as I became too sensitive with the original head, but due to the change in nozzle shape, I can actually get off comfortably two to three times with the smaller head. I get quite sensitive and tingly afterwards as the stimulation is quite precise and the cool air sensation heightens that further.

The second (or XL head) would be great for those who have bigger or buried clitoris in my opinion. It  has quite thin, rounded edges and the perfect amount of open space in the centre to cover most clits. For me, I found this head reduced some of the intensity as it wasn’t as precise as the first head. I have a smaller clitoris, so I sort of expected this once I saw the size of the second head. I felt like I needed to up through the intensities faster with the XL than I did with the regular. I can use settings two and three comfortably whilst still reaching intense orgasms with the first head, but I need setting five and six to get off with the second.

Womanizer 2 Go

Overall, I think the Womanizer 2 Go has been the most surprising model so far for me. It looks kinda comical because of the size, but don’t let that fool you. This thing has great levels of intensity and I was amazed that the smaller head allowed me to reach multiple orgasms this time around. I still lean towards preferring the Plus Size, but I prefer this to the W100, W500, Satisfyer 1, Satisfyer 2, Satisfyer Pro Deluxe and the Femme Fatale Clitorizer, so that should tell you that this is a suction toy worth trying.
