Review: So Divine Let’s Go Crazy Rabbit Vibrator

During the past twelve months there have been several new brands and companies that have managed to earn a spot on my sex toy radar but the only company that managed to consistently maintain my interest was So Divine. My partner and I have been so impressed with the quality of the products we have reviewed from them so far and their mission to produce safe, affordable sex toys for all is one that resonates deeply with us. So Divine’s journey started with mini bullets, single speed bullets, classic vibrators and massaging wands that doubled as internal vibrators. It continued with a petite jewelled plug which was followed by two larger plugs and it now expands further with the release of two rabbit vibrators.

The Let’s Go Crazy arrived in standard So Divine style – a minimalistic purple and white box with a striking product photo on the front. It points out a few key features on the side of the box and instructions for use on the back. Inside, the rabbit can be found alongside a three pin plug, charging cable, storage pouch and the information leaflet that comes with all of their toys. It gives a quick introduction to the company and basic cleaning directions for the product.

Charging couldn’t be simpler. Place the USB end of the cable into the port on the plug and then place that into an available socket. Next, attach the magnetic connector to the corresponding points on the back of the vibrator. It also has the helpful option of removing the plug for on the go charging. A flashing power light indicates that it’s charging, a steady light indicates a full battery and no light indicates that it’s not connected to the power or turned on. Full charge takes about four hours and gives two hours of use.

Let’s Go Crazy is made from soft, luxurious silicone. This means it’s non-toxic, odourless, hypoallergenic and completely body safe. No latex or phthalates either. A hygienic, non-porous material is what I recommend opting for with all sex toys but it’s an absolute must-have if sharing the toy between partners. Silicone is the only safe material that doesn’t have to be rock hard. The kind that’s used on this vibrator is incredibly silky and smooth. It feels delightful. There’s not much resistance to the material but I’d still suggest a generous slathering of water based lube for comfortable use. To clean, rinse this waterproof device under warm water and slather it with soap.

Operating time! There are five buttons on the control panel and the central button is the one that turns the toy on and off. It goes into standby mode when the light is blue which means other buttons will then work. To start the vibrations, press the top button for a couple of seconds. You also switch through the ten functions via this button. To increase the intensity of the vibrations use the plus button and to decrease them use the minus. The final button on the bottom controls the heat function with a simple tap. You can change the settings whilst the heat is on as normal and the lights will flicker between blue and red alternatively.

Let's Go Crazy Rabbit Vibrator

If you like girthy rabbits or larger insertables, then this may not be the best choice for you. It has a maximum circumference of 4.25 inches which is rather slimline. I personally like both slim and thick toys so I wasn’t discouraged by the size at all and I feel that it would be a great choice for people who prefer smaller vibrators or simply want something non-intimidating for first-time use. There are also five inches of insertable length which is pretty standard for a rabbit. It’s long enough to hit the right spots but short enough to avoid the cervix.

When I saw the colour scheme and shape of this rabbit I thought back to my experience with the Lelo Ina 2, a rabbit that I tried a while back that just didn’t work for me. On paper, it looked like it would have been perfect for me but in practice it wasn’t due to the firmness of the internal arm and the positioning of the clitoral arm. I do like my internal vibrators to be firm, but there’s a line between ‘firm enough’ and ‘ouch’. It had no flexibility whatsoever which meant I couldn’t move it around to avoid the bashing it gave to my internal spots and it left me feeling disappointed and wondering whether rabbits were just a waste of my time.

I have said in every rabbit review I have ever written that they are notoriously difficult to get right and are completely dependent on the users anatomy. It can be hard to tell from looking at one whether it will fit or not so it’s usually down to trial and error. Our vulvas are all different, even if the changes are minimal from one person to the next. These subtle changes in anatomy can be the deciding factors as to whether a particular rabbit will work for the user or not. Subtle changes in shape between two rabbits can be another deciding factor. For example, the Ina 2 has a similar shape to the Let’s Go Crazy but this suits me much better due to the flex of the shaft and internal arm.

Let's Go Crazy Rabbit VibratorBeing able to alter the positioning of the internal arm allows me to send it to the places where I want focused stimulation and avoid the spots where it pokes uncomfortably. The bulbous head and gentle curve of the shaft contour to my g-spot beautifully and caress it with rumbly, powerful vibrations. I stick to the constant speeds on high intensities and find myself riding out the waves of orgasm within several minutes.

The clitoral arm is placed in the perfect position for my body allowing the arm to firmly push up against the clitoris rather than sitting above or next to it. I can make the most of these external vibrations because the fit lines up well and I don’t need to move the toy around much internally to get the stimulation that I’m looking for. I think this is due to a combination of the gentle shape and the heating function. Without the heat I think I would have to put in more work to get my orgasms.

Being the sucker for temperature play that I am, a heating function is always warmly welcomed. I usually choose to use cold temperatures with glass and metal sex toys but heat on silicone feels exquisite and each time I experience it I wish all of my toys had the option to warm up. Once the function has been turned on it takes about five minutes to gradually warm up to 38 degrees. It is certainly noticeable at that point and it feels out of this world when combined with the powerful rumbly vibrations of this dual-motored device. It’s something I would recommend everyone try at least once.

Let's Go Crazy Rabbit Vibrator

Overall, I love So Divine more each time a new product is released and this has made me all the more excited for further products in 2018. Let’s Go Crazy is a winning rabbit for me. It has everything that I could want in this style of vibrator as well as the bonus of heat. The shape is perfect, the motors are reasonably quiet, the dimensions are ideal for all players regardless of experience level and the amount of combinations that can be created left me wanting to have fun with this for several more hours after I finished testing it.

You can purchase the Let’s Go Crazy Rabbit Vibrator (£64.99) from So Divine.

Review: Kiiroo Pearl 2 Interactive G-Spot Vibrator

Every year there seems to be a rise in the amount of sex toy designs that are created to be used with apps, websites, remotes, partners, headsets and other interactive resources. I think this is a category that’s only going to continue to grow and improve as the demands for these products increase. Technology is becoming more prevalent within all areas of life so it makes sense that it’s now reaching the sex toy market at full force. When I was presented with the opportunity to test out a new and improved interactive idea from Kiiroo, I was looking forward to seeing how this teledildonic device would work in practice and what exactly it could do that similar options couldn’t.

Kiiroo’s Pearl 2 comes in a white and purple box with a product shot on the front, specs on one side and a brief description plus the compatible interactive features listed on the back. Inside, the toy rests upon some foam casing alongside the charging cable, warranty card, quick set-up guide and a little card that tells you where to find the full user manual. The warranty is for one year after purchase and can be registered at this section of their website. A downside to the contents of the box was the lack of storage. It’s disappointing to me as this retails at just under $100 and it wouldn’t have upped the cost much to throw in a drawstring pouch.

It has been made from a smooth silicone that feels decent to the touch and has all the usual benefits of being the only soft material that’s completely body safe without being rock hard. It is odourless, non-toxic, phthalate free and hypoallergenic. It is soft but has a ton of drag to its surface so a thicker water-based lubricant has been required for comfortable, friction-free use. It attracts lint, not obsessively so, but it’s fully waterproof so can be rinsed before each use to remove traces of fluff and pet hair. After use, soapy water and a thorough rinse will clean it up perfectly.

Charging wise, there is a port located on the base that is covered with self-healing silicone. Stiff at first but this becomes easier after several charges. The light on the front will blink slowly to indicate that it’s charging and turn to a steady green glow once complete. A full refresh takes about two hours and gives around an hour of use. There are two other light alerts to watch out for. Red and flashing means the battery is running low and yellow means there’s an update that needs checking or an error has occurred.

To control the Pearl, there is one button. Power on by pressing down for four seconds, a solid blue colour will show to indicate the Bluetooth mode has been activated, press again for a white light to head to touch sensitive mode. Each press after that goes to a preset mode of vibration. To turn off press and hold down again for a few seconds. Having just one button sounds simple and practical, but for me, it caused massive frustration and broken nails. I have brittle nails, amongst other brittle areas of my body, and they bent back and snapped every time I tried to connect with the button. This is because it’s stiff and not raised enough. It doesn’t stick out enough to be comfortable to interact with and its hard to find in the dark even with the light glistening. It irritated the hell out of me and would absolutely need to be improved on a future version for me to consider getting one.

Kiiroo Pearl 2 G-Spot VibratorAs mentioned above there are a couple of settings that aren’t preset vibrations and that may leave some questions lingering. So to answer them, the Bluetooth mode is the only one that can be used to receive signals from a partner. You have to go to the website feelme (or the FeelConnect app) to set up the device to connect with a partner or use the interactive content provided.

Follow the instructions given to pair the Pearl to the website or app. The touch sensitive mode is almost self explanatory. It responds intuitively to touch, making the surface vibrate whenever it comes into contact with the body. You can see from the guide where the sensitive zones are to figure out how to target the vibrations to your advantage.

It has 7.8 inches of overall length, with just under five inches being usable. It doesn’t bash my cervix during internal use but it’s theoretically long enough to hit the g-spot. It doesn’t hit mine but that is an issue that doesn’t relate to size. Girth wise, there’s a maximum of 4.5 inches around the widest point which is on the slim side for this style of vibrator. It would be a great size for someone who’s new to sex toys/penetration or simply prefers a smaller insertable. Do remember that there’s no flared base so this should never be used for anal.

So it’s marketed as a “g-spot vibrator” but for me it was everything but that. It didn’t do much for me as an internal toy because it didn’t hit the spots it promises to. It’s simply not curved enough for this kind of contact. The head does not differ much in girth from the rest of the shaft and it has a lack of defined curve/angle. It functions better as a classic vibrator from my perspective as it doesn’t have the right shape or definition to work for my g-spot. I like classic vibrators every once in a while although there needs to be at least one of the followings things: a taped tip, texture or a thick girth. This has none of those features so I wasn’t enthused with it at all.

Kiiroo Pearl 2 G-Spot VibratorUntil this point, I couldn’t decide how I felt about the Pearl. I had written a list that consisted of a handful of cons and a handful of pros, with the pros being some of the basic things like rechargeable, body-safe, waterproof etc. I wasn’t particularly impressed as the most important features seemed to have been overlooked (good control panel, shape, dimensions) but then I turned on the motor and the pros list began to look a little brighter.

The vibrations were rumbly and resonate well below the surface. I felt that they were fairly strong and suitable for most users. I can’t say that they’d impress a hardened power queen but they were just about enough to bring me to a clitoral orgasm. I stuck with the constant vibration mode as I didn’t want to frustrate myself trying to change to any of the other functions. The shape isn’t too bad for clitoral stimulation either. I wouldn’t argue with a tapered tip for more precise contact, but broad stimulation can be fun sometimes too.

People seem to be asking for sex toys that do more than just vibrate these days and the Pearl 2 is a perfect example of that. You can pair with a partner through the FeelConnect app and allow them to control the device from anywhere in the world. This is the perfect feature for those of us in long-distance relationships or those who travel often for work as it allows us to be involved in a partners pleasure even from a distance. Other features available include listening to erotica, watching porn videos, engaging in live cam shows, playing games and even VR for those who own headsets.

Overall, there are things I like about Kiiroo’s second generation Pearl but it became apparent to me over time that the focus was on making it interactive, rather than anything else. I would need someone to take a harder look at the build and shape for this to get full marks. The button needs to be raised from the surface more and easier to press whilst the shape needs a revamp and a bit more research. A curve or angled head is the prominent feature of almost every other g-spot marketed sex toy and this lacks that entirely. It needs that if it’s going to be advertised as a toy that will hit that spot successfully. As a clitoral or classic vibrator this could work well for people who like decently powered, deep sensations and want to explore interactive content for the first time.

You can purchase the Pearl 2 ($99/£73.95) in black or purple from Kiiroo.

Review: Be Sassy Be Tender Vibrator

Earlier in the year I tried the Be Charming Lay On Vibrator from Orion’s Be Sassy collection and it wasn’t the best. Not all sex toys are suited to everyone, which is understandable, so I didn’t want to rule out the rest of the range based on that one experience as these products are silicone, affordable and well made which makes them great candidates to recommend to others. I asked Orion if they would be willing to let me take another chance on the collection and they kindly obliged, sending over the Be Unique and the Be Tender. This one is a lay on vibrator like the original toy I reviewed but it has a different shape so I hoped that would make me feel differently about it. Was that the case or did I encounter deja vu?

As before, I cannot fault the presentation. It’s plain with no tacky images to be found. The box shows a front and back view of the product and also offers up a couple of informational snippets. The sides just read basic descriptions in a host of languages regarding the key features. The box opens via a magnetic clip to reveal the vibrator behind a viewing screen, which is a nice touch, and it comes with a generic user guide and charging cable.

Unlike the Be Unique, the Be Tender is rechargeable. It has a port on the back for the jack to be placed into and this is covered via a moveable flap of silicone. The other end of the cable goes into a USB connector. The lights on the control panel will flash whilst the charging is taking place and go steady once complete. The box estimates a two-hour charge period with up to an hour of use depending on the settings being used.

Created from silicone which has a polyurethane coating and a small amount of plastic, there are no concerns regarding body-safety. It’s phthalate free, odourless and non-toxic amongst other great things. It’s also hypoallergenic which means that it can be properly cleaned between uses and won’t hoard bacteria. The materials feel high-quality and the vibrator itself appears to have been put together well. It doesn’t have any visible seams or rough edges whatsoever and aesthetically it is pleasant to look at. The resistance to the silicone is minimal as it’s rather smooth but a coating of water based lubricant around the areas that come into contact with the clitoris will remove that.

A slight gripe I have with this range is that neither the box, manual or website specifies whether the products are waterproof. The guide does indicate that cleaning should be done with soap and water so I assume that it is but it’s not completely clear. I have had no problems rinsing but I would exercise caution to others and advise making sure the charging port is completely covered so no water gets into that area.

Be Sassy Be Tender VibratorOperating the Be Tender could not be simpler as it only has two buttons. A power button which turns the device on and off and a function button that scrolls through the available modes. The control panel lights up when in use and flashes in accordance with the setting being used. It has eight modes in total with three of them being constant waves of vibration and the remaining five being patterns. I haven’t used those as I don’t enjoy them and prefer constant stimulation.

So how did we get along? Well I didn’t find myself feeling much stimulation when holding the toy as it was probably designed to be held. If I positioned the ears around the clitoral hood and buried the nose of the rabbit into it then I couldn’t get as much pressure as I needed and felt numbed by the vibrations faster. The motor of the Be Tender is as buzzy as the last vibrator I tried from the range but it seems to have a better frequency to it which means it’s not unbearable. It still becomes numbing if left on an exposed area for longer than a few moments but I discovered a work around as I experimented.

I decided to use it with a layer of fabric between us, be that a thin bed sheet or my underwear, as it felt much better. It dampened the power slightly but I felt that the pros outweighed that con on this occasion. It meant I was able to place the vibrator on that area, without it touching my skin, prolonging the time I could use it for comfortably. The motor is rather powerful so if it wasn’t for the buzzing I’d orgasm very quickly but as the sensations don’t travel below the surface level of the clitoris it takes a little longer. When there’s fabric between us I can get a refreshing climax in before the numbing sensation gets grip and takes over.

Be Sassy Be Tender VibratorPlacement wise, I use it with the ears downwards tickling the vulva and the back of the toy pushed up against the clitoris. It may not be the way it was designed to be used but it works for me better than the ‘correct’ method.

Sometimes playing around with positioning can make all the difference in whether a toy can be suitable to me or not so I don’t like to leave options unexplored. The method I used allowed me to push the back of the toy into the area that I wanted the stimulation focused on and I could comfortably lay on it and grind my body against it to get the desired pressure and sensation.

I’m not exactly sure why I’ve always enjoyed lay-on vibrators or toys that I can use whilst laying on my stomach but I seem to get my strongest orgasms with my head buried into a pillow. I feel more in control this way for some reason and more likely to relax and let myself get lost in the moment. I assume that it’s linked in with the way I used to masturbate in my pre sex toy era (grinding against something placed underneath me) as that would make a lot of sense. The Be Tender suits those circumstances perfectly so would be great for people who masturbate similarly to me or people who have mobility issues and need the vibrator to stay in place to do most of the work.

Overall, I would have to be completely honest and say that this is better than the one I tried previously. I didn’t hate this encounter and found ways to make it work for me. I would not be able to use it successfully without some form of fabric barrier between us due to the buzzing of the motor but this makes an interesting change from my typical unclothed masturbation habits. The other thing that isn’t perfect about it is the noise levels. It’s unfortunately not the quietest tool in my box and I couldn’t use it with others in the house unless I had background noise to drown it out. Outside of those two things, the Be Tender is a definite improvement on the last lay-on vibe and has definitely made me feel more optimistic and positive about the rest of the Be Sassy collection.

You can purchase the Be Sassy Be Tender Lay-On Vibrator (€44.95/£40.23) from Orion.
