Review: Womanizer 2 Go

Will I ever get bored of suction toys? No, probably not. That’s why my ears pricked up so quickly when I heard that Womanizer would be releasing a new version of their popular pressure wave device. This one is called the 2 Go and is the fifth model to join Womanizer’s repertoire. You might be wondering what else I could possibly say about this brands products at this point, but I’ve concluded that all of the models are so darn different which leaves me with tons of differences to comment on. The technology in each of the models may be the same, but ultimately the sensations and the way my body reacts are not.

It was presented in a clean white and gold box with the Womanizer branding on the front. It’s classic and understated, but I think that it’s nice enough to give as a gift as is. Inside the box I found the 2 Go alongside the charging cable and user manual. I had expected to find a larger head inside the box as these as usually included, but I couldn’t find one at first. It had been pushed up into the back of the tray that the toy was resting on so I had almost missed it. There’s no storage bag or case included, but as this device comes with a cap to cover the nozzle, I don’t think it was necessary.

The model that I received arrived with some charge but as I wasn’t sure how much I decided to give it a freshen up before taking it on a test run. To do so, you have to open up the covering over the port on the base and plug in the jack. Then place the USB into a suitable port and wait for a flashing green light to appear on the Womanizer. It takes approximately two hours for a full charge and you’ll know that it’s finished when the light turns steady. This provides up to 240 minutes of use, although of course this depends on the settings used. If the device begins to flash red at any point this indicates that the battery is running low and needs to be placed on charge. I love this as I’ll never be caught out thirty seconds away from a climax.

Womanizer 2 Go

The Womanizer 2 Go is made up of a glossy plastic body and a pink silicone head. Both of these materials are latex and phthalate free, non-toxic, odourless and completely body safe. It’s waterproof, which is something many of us have always asked of Womanizer and they’re starting to deliver that with their newer models. The manual advises to clean the device by removing the head and rinsing out the pressure chamber. It says that the device should then be switched on and ran at high intensity for one minute. Shake out all of the water in a sweeping motion until the gurgling noise dissipates, turn off the leave to leave to dry. As for the heads, you can use good old soap and water or bleach/boil them for extra peace of mind. I’d recommend the second method if two clit owners will be using the 2 Go.

Before I go any further into this review I think I need to address the elephants in the room. The appearance and the size. The presentation of the 2 Go is completely different to the other designs that Womanizer have made. It doesn’t resemble an ear thermometer at all and I think the colour options are lovely. I chose the white and gold version as I felt that was the most luxurious and attractive, but it also comes in black and gold and green and pink. There are no leopard print patterns or gemstone buttons in sight, so I’m rather satisfied with the way that it looks. I hope future designs will follow in this direction rather than going back to the crocodile prints of the original W100.

Womanizer 2 Go

I am not the first person to comment on the dimensions of the Womanizer 2 Go and I definitely will not be the last. I had heard jokes about the size before I received my own device and I thought that people were exaggerating, but it turns out that the one-liners are all true. It is comedically large for a lipstick shaped sex toy. I have previously tried Lovehoney’s Oh! Lipstick Vibrator so I decided to compare it the 2 Go and was shocked to discover it was at least twice the size of it.

I can see why it might need to be larger than the average lipstick vibrator to hold the required technology inside, but I do feel that this sort of defeats the purpose of a disguised design. It doesn’t look discreet enough to be passed as a lipstick in my opinion and I don’t know anyone who’d believe this was a cosmetic. I feel that my friends would quickly guess that this was a sex toy trying to pass off as a lipstick, and they’re not totally clued up in the world of toys. I would say that it looks more like a classy fragrance bottle when the cap is on.

Womanizer 2 GoThe 2 Go is not much smaller (height wise) than the W500 which again, makes the discreet design a bit redundant in my opinion. Having said that, I don’t leave sex toys lying around outside of my bedroom so discretion isn’t too much of an issue for me.  I don’t really leave my house to travel, although I’ll admit that I probably wouldn’t take this on the go if I did. This is due to the cost, rather than the dimensions or shape. I wouldn’t want to risk losing it, so I’d take the more replaceable options like the Pro 40, Satisfyer 2 or the Satisfyer Deluxe. I wouldn’t be too bothered if I lost the latter two.

As for the controls, there’s only one. A singular button located on the base. One press will turn the toy on, each further tap will cycle through the six available modes and after this it returns to the lowest intensity. I do have a preference for multiple buttons on my sex toys, as I like to have an on/off switch and an up and down arrow to change through the intensities as I desire with the option to go back a setting if needed. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a lipstick shaped sex toy with more than one button (hell, finding them with more than one speed is difficult) so I will give Womanizer a pass on this occasion. I would love the multiple buttons back on future devices though.

Womanizer 2 Go

Down to the nitty-gritty now, let’s discuss the sensations. I found it difficult to even get to the point of feeling them at first as it was hard to locate a way of holding the device that was both comfortable and effective. The original nozzle is slightly different to the oval shape of the nozzles on the other versions of the Womanizer, which took some getting used to. I had to adjust a few times to get it to sit over my clitoris properly. This was made more difficult by the glossy finish that the toy has as it kept slipping out of my hands.

Eventually, I learned that holding it upside down so that the button pointed upwards towards my belly button was the best position for me. When I turned it on for the first time I was taken back. I was expecting the subtle, gentle intensity that the other four models offer, but this version doesn’t really have them. It starts off at a more medium level than the others, which makes me think that it’s probably not the best choice for those who have never tried a toy like this before. I would prefer to recommend the more varied Pro 40 as a first time Womanizer.

Womanizer 2 Go

The sensations are similar to that of past models once I’ve found the correct positioning but I did note that it definitely felt more intense. I have needed to switch to the larger head with past versions in order to get more than one orgasm as I became too sensitive with the original head, but due to the change in nozzle shape, I can actually get off comfortably two to three times with the smaller head. I get quite sensitive and tingly afterwards as the stimulation is quite precise and the cool air sensation heightens that further.

The second (or XL head) would be great for those who have bigger or buried clitoris in my opinion. It  has quite thin, rounded edges and the perfect amount of open space in the centre to cover most clits. For me, I found this head reduced some of the intensity as it wasn’t as precise as the first head. I have a smaller clitoris, so I sort of expected this once I saw the size of the second head. I felt like I needed to up through the intensities faster with the XL than I did with the regular. I can use settings two and three comfortably whilst still reaching intense orgasms with the first head, but I need setting five and six to get off with the second.

Womanizer 2 Go

Overall, I think the Womanizer 2 Go has been the most surprising model so far for me. It looks kinda comical because of the size, but don’t let that fool you. This thing has great levels of intensity and I was amazed that the smaller head allowed me to reach multiple orgasms this time around. I still lean towards preferring the Plus Size, but I prefer this to the W100, W500, Satisfyer 1, Satisfyer 2, Satisfyer Pro Deluxe and the Femme Fatale Clitorizer, so that should tell you that this is a suction toy worth trying.

Review: Womanizer Plus Size

A few weeks ago, Orion kindly sent me the two new Womanizer models to review. I was super excited to get my hands on this Plus Size model, although I’m still not in love with the name of it. I can see why it was named Plus Size but I feel it might put some people off wanting to use it. Outside of the name, this model seemed to solve a few of my past issues with previous Womanizers straight away, particularly the shape issues I had with the W500. Did it stand up to the test once it was turned on or was it a massive disappointment? Read on to find out!

I really liked the presentation with this model. It arrived in a clean, white and gold box with a few glossy pictures of the product and the Womanizer branding. It’s classic and understated, but definitely nice enough to give as a gift I think. Inside the box, the Plus Size was found amongst the charging cable, adapter, user manual, satin storage pouch and a spare silicone head, which I believe was the larger size. I’m really glad that Womanizer decided to include storage with this model as I was sad one wasn’t included with my Pro 40.

Womanizer Plus Size

Womanizer Plus Size

It needed a full charge upon arrival as it arrived with none and this took roughly 120 minutes. This is said to give around 240 minutes of play time (depending on the setting used), which I think is a wonderful ratio. I’ve only needed to recharge it twice so far despite using it regularly since it arrived. To charge, the jack needs to be placed into the port on the toy (which is hidden behind a silicone flap on the base) and the USB into a charging station. I’ve had no issues with the charging process as the LED light helps determine when its taking place, but please note that the product gets quite warm whilst doing so, so it’s best to keep on hard surfaces.

Am I in absolutely love and lust with this sleek long-bodied Womanizer? Yes! The Plus Size has maintained the shape of the original Womanizer creation in terms of shape, but it’s been made on a larger scale. I’m a big fan of a long handle and slim body, which is exactly what this model offers. I find it much easier to control than the W500 and I have a slight preference to it over the W100 and Pro 40. It’s really comfortable to hold, especially for long-term use and it has fantastic button placement. The power button at one end and the plus/minus buttons are at the other, making sure there are no accidents mid use.

Womanizer Plus SizeWhere it differs (other than sheer size) from the W100 and W500 is the design. Out with the days of bright crocodile print, leopard print and gemstone buttons and in with this classic black, white and gold colour scheme that screams luxury. It’s not particularly femme which I think is a bonus as it feels more inclusive to those who have a clitoris but don’t identify as female. It’s also more inviting to those who were put off by previous designs. It looks like a classy sex toy now and I think this is definitely the most luxurious edition of the Womanizer to date.

If you’ve read my reviews of the original models, you’ll remember that I complained that they weren’t waterproof. I cannot do that in my latest set of reviews. Like the Pro 40, the Plus Size is aqua suitable. I’m so glad feedback has been taken on board and listened to as now the cleaning process is much easier. It also gives more options for play and the consensus seems to be that these toys feel better when used in the bath. I like to gently rinse the entire unit and then dry with a cloth before removing the silicone head and washing that more intensively. I generally use a q-tip with antibacterial cleaner on to get any lube and lint residue from the head following each use.

Womanizer Plus SizeAs I mentioned above, I’m fond of the button placement. I think the three-button interface is incredibly easy to understand. Power turns the Womanizer on and off, whilst the other two buttons control the intensity and cycle through the various settings. I love the fact that there’s up and down arrows as I like to be able to go back to a previous setting if I accidentally pass the one I want or opt for too much too soon. There are twelve settings to explore on this clitoral stimulator and I tend to use settings six and above, with the deciding factor being how fast I want to orgasm.

Who do I think is best suited to a toy like the Womanizer? Someone who likes direct clitoral contact. If you are somebody who prefers wands to bullet vibrators, then you might find something like the Womanizer to be too intense even on the lowest settings. It might be too much for someone who’s particularly sensitive too as this stimulation is quite precise. If you’re in either of those situations, you are probably better off with something broader. I personally like both types of stimulation but direct is what gets me off the fastest, which makes a product like this a dream for me.

Womanizer Plus SizeAnd best suited to this particular model? People who prefer longer-handled toys, be that for reasons of comfort or reasons related to a disability or condition. I have weak joints and problems with my wrists, so something longer feels more comfortable to me and I’m able to hold onto it for longer. If you have reach issues with the original Womanizer, then this might be the answer to all your prayers. It doesn’t have much weight to it, so people with motor issues/mobility issues should have no issues with holding this upright.

In terms of how the stimulation feels, I can’t really fault it. It’s quite apparent by now that this technology really works for me and the Womanizer Plus Size didn’t change that. It has a great range of intensities and I can force an orgasm out of myself in less than a minute with setting 12. I can enjoy orgasmic bliss with the majority of the higher settings though. The lower settings are great for occasions where I want to do some teasing or prolong an orgasm. The Womanizer Plus Size is such a reliable orgasm-achieving device for me and I think it’s a massive improvement on the original model. It’s not going to be a product that works so quickly for everybody, but I do think it will be great for those who enjoy direct clitoral stimulation.

Womanizer Plus SizeOn the topic of describing the sensations, I think there’s a factor that’s worth mentioning. The choice of head can make all the difference. I am fond of the regular heads as I think these work best with my body and preferences. These heads make the pressure feel more precise than the larger ones in my opinion. The larger heads take away some of the intensity for me personally, but I will use them on occasion if I don’t want to orgasm within five minutes. I have a smaller clitoris, so that might be the reasoning behind that. Those who have a larger clitoris might find the opposite occurs.

Noise is one of the first things that I’m asked about regarding these toys, so it’s worth repeating that none of these stimulators are completely quiet due to the mechanisms involved. I do think noise is an important factor for a lot of people, so if you’re one of them, this is a model I’d suggest steering away from. This is louder than the other Womanizer models in my opinion, but I find it tolerable and just opt to use it whenever I get the house to myself or I take it in the bath to muffle the sound. If something as quiet as possible is essential, then you’re left with two choices. The W100 and the Pro 40. If you don’t need the additional intensity, then the W100 is the best of the bunch.

In conclusion, I loved the Womanizer Plus Size. I love the elegant aesthetics that this offers, the variety of intensities and the sleek, easy-to-use control panel. I find this the most comfortable of the four current Womanizer models, just because of the long body, but it’s not as easy to carry around as the smaller Pro 40. It is definitely a step in a fantastic direction for the brand and I hope they continue to do things like this, rather than bringing out more garish designs. It has everything I could want in a clitoral stimulator and I’m excited to see how they can improve on this. The only downside of this model is the noise, but hey, I can live with it in exchange for getting my mind-blown on a nightly basis.

Review: Womanizer Pro 40

Womanizer Pro 40A few weeks ago, Orion sent me the two new Womanizer models to review. I was really excited about trying the Pro 40 in particular as its everything I’ve been wanting from this brand. It seemed to solve a few of my past issues with previous models straight away and it also comes in at a much more respectable price tag than the past models. Does it hit as many buttons as the Satisfyer Pro 2 or were my initial impressions wrong? Read on to find out!

I rather liked the presentation of the Pro 40 packaging. Just a clean white box with a few glossy pictures of the product and the Womanizer branding. It’s classic and understated, but nice enough to give as a gift I think. Inside the box, the Pro 40 was found amongst the charging cable, adapter, user manual and a spare silicone head, which I believe was the larger size. Unlike the previous two Womanizer models, this one does not come with any storage. I understand wanting to keep costs down, but a small storage pouch would have been appreciated.

It needed a full charge as it arrived with none and this takes roughly 120 minutes. This gives around 240 minutes of play time (depending on the setting used), which I think is a wonderful ratio. I’ve only needed to recharge it a handful of times despite using it every other day since it arrived. It’s charged by placing the jack into the port on the toy and the USB into a charging station. The head will light up as the charge is taking place and it also flashes red when its in need of some fresh juice. I’ve had no issues with the charging process but please note that the product gets quite warm whilst doing so, so it’s best to keep on hard surfaces.

Am I in love with this sleek, updated take on the W100? Absolutely! The Pro 40 has gone back to the roots of the original Womanizer creation in terms of shape and I’m a big fan of that. I mentioned in my review of the W100 that I loved the long handle/slim body and this hasn’t changed. It’s much easier to use and control than the W500 in my opinion and I also find it more comfortable, especially for long-term use. I quite like the button placement on this model but for me it would feel more natural to have the plus and minus buttons the other way around on the control panel. I keep finding myself turning it down instead of up at the moment, which is momentarily frustrating.

Womanizer Pro 40The design of this is completely unlike the original though. Gone are the days of leopard print, bright crocodile print and awful gemstone buttons. The Pro 40 comes in two colour options – white and silver, which I chose, and Magenta and white. Neither are as feminine as previous models which I think is a bonus as it feels more inviting to people who have a clitoris but don’t identify as female. It’s also more inviting to those who were put off by the previous designs.

Remember in previous reviews of the Womanizer models where I complained that they weren’t waterproof? I can’t do that in this review. Feedback seems to have been taken on board and the Pro 40 is waterproof as a result. This makes the cleaning process so much easier. I like to gently rinse the entire unit and then dry it with a cloth before removing the head and washing that more intensively. I generally have to use a q-tip with toy cleaner to get any lube or lint residue from the head following each use.

As I mentioned before, I am fond of the control panel. It has a three-button interface, a power button then a plus and minus. The power obviously turns the toy on and off whilst the other two control the intensity and scroll through the various settings. I like the fact that there’s up and down arrows as I like to be able to go back to a previous setting if I accidentally pass the one I want or opt for too much intensity too soon. There are eight settings to explore on this clitoral stimulator and I can become invested in the sensations from setting four and above.

Womanizer Pro 40When I lay back with the Womanizer Pro 40, I can lose myself in orgasmic bliss after a minute or two on full power. It’s a quick, reliable orgasm tool and I’d say that it’s similar to a Doxy in that it just sort of rips an orgasm out of you. It’s not going to do that for everyone as the stimulation it offers is best suited to people who enjoy direct/pin-point clitoral contact.

If you like the broader stimulation of a wand and prefer it to a bullet vibrator, then you might find a toy such as this to be too intense, even on the lower settings. Equally, it might be too much if you have a highly sensitive clitoris. You’re probably better off with something broader. I personally like broad and direct stimulation, but direct is what gets me off the fastest, making the Womanizer perfect for me.

I would describe the Pro 40 as having the power of the W500 and all the best qualities of the W100. I’m glad it has eight levels of intensity as I didn’t find the six modes on the original to be enough for an intense orgasm. I am a power queen and although this is a pressure wave stimulator rather than a vibrator, I find the highest settings to penetrate below the surface of my clitoris as the highest settings on the Tango would. It feels different, but just as good. I haven’t been let down in the strength department and I’m quite pleased with the variety it has. It has some gentle suckle-like stimulation to start with if you’re not sure whether the technology will work for you or not.

On the topic of intensity, I think the choice of head can make all the difference. I personally prefer to use the regular heads as I’ve found these work best with my body and preferences. I think this makes the pressure feel rather precise. The larger heads take away some of the intensity in my experience, but I will use them on occasion if I don’t want to orgasm as quickly or I’m looking to achieve multiple climaxes. I feel that the regular heads tend to make me more sensitive after one orgasm, to the point where a second could be numbing and painful, but the larger heads don’t do this.

Womanizer Pro 40Before I turns this short review into a novel, I think noise is an important factor in a sex toy and is generally one of the first questions people ask me. I will admit that none of these “suction” type stimulators are quiet due to the mechanisms involved, but they aren’t sledgehammer loud. I do think the Pro 40 is louder than the previous models, only slightly, but I can tolerate this extra noise when I’m getting so many great things in exchange. If you need something quieter, than the W100 is probably the best Womanizer option for you.

In conclusion, I think this is the best Womanizer creation to date. I love the sleek aesthetics that this offers and whilst I’d remove a few of the visible seams, it’s pleasant to look at. It’s a huge improvement on previous models in terms of design and definitely a step in the best direction. I really like that the features I liked from both previous models have been morphed together to make one toy and then been made waterproof as a bonus. I am looking forward to seeing what this brand does next, but I’m hoping there will be some more models along these lines in the future that include storage.

I received the Womanizer Pro 40 (€99,00/£86.25) from Orion in exchange for my honest opinion. Thank you! No affiliate links have been used in this post.

Review: Womanizer W100

A few months ago, I finally managed to get my hands on the Womanizer W500 and I really enjoyed the experience, so when I saw the W100 on sale at Lovehoney, I decided I just had to get the original too. Admittedly, I still prefer my beloved Satisfyer Pro 2 to both of these Womanizers, but I’m super excited to see what both brands bring out next.

I was reasonably happy with the presentation upon arrival as the box was much cleaner than I thought it would be. It’s classic and understated (unlike the toy) and features just a few simple images of the product and samples of the design that I chose. Inside the box, I found a lovely branded storage case alongside a user manual. Inside the case was the Womanizer itself, the charging cable, an adapter and a spare silicone head.

I opted for the black tattoo pattern as it’s totally different to anything that I have in my collection and it’s one of the least offensive designs available in my opinion. I think this is probably one of the best designs that Womanizer currently offer the W100 in, but I prefer the mint lace pattern of my W500 and the clean appearance of the white Pro40 to this style. I have to admit that I’m still not a big fan of the sparkly gemstone button that the original Womanizers have, but I find it easier to use on the W100 as it’s not so stiff.

Womanizer W100Before I could get stuck in, a full charge was required. I didn’t need the included adapter, so I just plugged the USB into the charging port and opened up the small silicone flap on the base of the toy to insert the jack. A light flashes near the charging port to indicate that the charge is taking place and this becomes steady once the charge has completed. The manual recommends four hours of charge for a complete refresh, which should give around ninety minutes of playtime, depending on the intensity it’s being used on.

Out of the two Womanizers that I currently own, I prefer the shape of this one, especially when I wish to use it for longer periods of time. I don’t have to stretch my hand around such a wide surface and I think the button placement is better on the original. It has two buttons, a power button and the gemstone button that I briefly mentioned earlier. The power button obviously turns the suction on, but it also reverts back to the lowest intensity if pressed again during use. It turns off by being pressed and held for a few seconds. The gemstone button is in charge of cycling through the available functions, of which there are six.

Womanizer W100The Womanizer has grabbed the attention of many, intriguing sex toy enthusiasts worldwide, but it’s not going to be suitable for everyone. I personally believe that this toy is best suited to those who enjoy direct/pin-point clitoral stimulation. If you’re a person who prefers broader stimulation, then I think you might find a toy such as this to be too intense, even on the lower settings. I like a bit of both, but I prefer intense, direct contact so a toy like this is ideal for me.

You can get two different sized heads for the Womanizer, regular or XL and I personally prefer the regular as I’ve found this makes the stimulation extremely precise. The larger heads are useful on the occasions where I don’t want to orgasm quite so quickly or I want to experiment with multiple orgasms. The larger head takes away some of the intensity, so it’s not my head of choice, but it is nice on those occasions where I want to spend more time with the Womanizer. The smaller head tends to make me feel more sensitive after one orgasm, to the point where a second orgasm could actually be painful, but this doesn’t happen with the larger size, which is why it’s useful for longer use.

Womanizer W100

Once I’ve found the perfect position around the clitoris, I can just lay back and let the Womanizer take over. I apply a small amount of water-based lubricant to the silicone nozzle beforehand as this makes use more comfortable. There are six settings ranging from light and gentle to an intense suction, but I only really use settings four through six. I am a power queen and I’ve learned that the W100’s highest setting is not always enough for me.

I prefer the W500 to the original simply because of the two extra settings, although the shape and control panel are much better on this one. If the things I liked about both of the Womanizers were combined into one toy, then I think it would seriously give the Satisfyer a run for its money. It would also have to be waterproof, which neither of these models are. The silicone heads can be removed and cleaned with toy cleaner and water, but the rest is not water-friendly so it’s best to use antibacterial wipes on the body.

Womanizer W100

In terms of noise, the Womanizer is not a particularly quiet toy, but the sound does dissipate once the toy makes contact with the skin. A closed-door is generally enough to cover the sound once it’s made contact, but once it’s taken away then the noise can be picked up on from outside the room. I usually use this toy when I have the house to myself or simply turn the toy off before removing it from the skin to avoid being heard. Background music may help out, so I wouldn’t completely rule it out for those who need discretion.

Overall, I think the Womanizer W100 is a wonderful device. I would highly recommend it to those who like direct clitoral contact, cooling sensations and fast orgasms. It can take some getting used to, but the orgasms from this toy are results I can’t reach with a regular vibrator. If it had the power of the W500, then I think this would be the winner for me because it has a better shape, easier control panel and it comes with a case, which the more expensive, wider version does not.

At the present time I can not locate a stockist of the Womanizer W100. It appears to have been discontinued in favour of the newer models. I will update with links if I find a stockist.
